Both Fall (September) and Spring (January) intakes remain open to international students, and the Lubin BBA/MBA combined degree is a STEM-designated pathway relevant for Indian applicants weighing MBA universities in New York.

Pace University Admission 2027
Pace University admits international students in two cycles per year, with Fall the primary intake for Indian applicants. Application shell is common across schools; deadlines vary by school and programme category, so read the calendar per programme rather than treating any date as universal.
Pace University Application Deadlines 2027
The next set of published deadlines covers Spring 2027 (now open) and Fall 2027. Dates below come directly from the graduate application deadlines catalogue and the undergraduate international deadlines page.
| Milestone | Date | Notes for Indian Applicants |
|---|---|---|
| Spring 2027 international deadline (most PG schools) | 1 October 2026 | Applies to Lubin, Seidenberg, Education, and general Dyson programmes. |
| Fall 2027 UG Early Decision | 1 November 2026 | Binding; fastest merit-scholarship decision. |
| Fall 2027 UG Regular Decision | 15 February 2027 | Recommended for Indian Class 12 applicants awaiting Boards. |
| Fall 2027 PG (Dyson MSEd, PsyD) | 1 January 2027 | Earliest graduate deadline; plan APS and WES lead time. |
| Fall 2027 PG (Lubin, Seidenberg, Education, general Dyson) | 1 June 2027 | Latest international deadline; visa processing follows. |
[Source: Pace University Graduate Application Deadlines]
Planning note: Indian applicants targeting Fall 2027 at Lubin or Seidenberg should submit by early April 2027 rather than the 1 June cut, because I-20 issuance and F-1 visa slots at Indian consulates get crowded in June and July.

Pace University Admission Requirements for Indian Applicants 2027
Requirements for Indian applicants differ sharply by school and by programme cluster; the bullet lists below are the high-level thresholds.
Pace University PG Requirements 2027
- Academic: Bachelor’s from an accredited university with minimum 60% or CGPA 6.0/10 (recommended); Lubin and Seidenberg favour applicants with 65% and above.
- English test: IELTS 6.5 for Lubin and Seidenberg; IELTS 7.0 for Dyson (except Communication), Education, and Health; IELTS 7.5 for Communication and Digital Media, Nursing PhD, PA (NYC), and clinical health tracks.
- Credential verification: Official transcripts and, for competitive schools, a WES course-by-course evaluation are recommended.
- Standardised tests: GRE and GMAT are not required for most Lubin or Seidenberg master’s programmes but strengthen scholarship review.
Pace University UG Requirements 2027
- Academic: Class 12 pass from a recognised Indian board; competitive applicants present 70% to 85% (recommended), with Nursing expecting a Science stream at 75% and above.
- English test: IELTS 6.5, or Duolingo, PTE, and TOEFL scores at school-set minima; scores must be within two years.
All Pace test minimums above trace to the university’s official masters programmes English proficiency page and hold until the school revises them. Undergraduate score bands sit at the level required for a Class 12 applicant to complete Freshman Studies without conditional English support.
Key insight: Duolingo is accepted at every Pace school at the same weight as IELTS, which matters for Indian applicants unable to secure a British Council or IDP slot before an October or January deadline.
Pace University Acceptance Rate 2027
Pace University’s most recently cited overall acceptance rate is 77% (estimated), placing it among the more accessible mid-tier private universities in the New York metro. The figure is not officially published on the university website; the estimate reflects third-party admissions dashboards that Indian applicants encounter.
The rate varies substantially by school. Lubin’s MBA and Seidenberg’s MS Computer Science are more competitive than the university-level number suggests, while Dyson’s arts and humanities programmes admit at rates above the mean. Undergraduate Early Decision typically admits at a higher rate than Regular Decision because the pool self-selects.
Reality check: A 77% headline does not mean automatic entry. Indian applicants who miss the 60% bachelor’s or 6.5 IELTS bar are declined regardless of the overall rate; test scores and academic evidence carry more weight than the university-wide funnel.

An Indian undergraduate at the New York City campus should budget $86,148 (₹82.23 lakh) for one academic year, all in. Graduate totals depend on programme length: a 36-credit MS runs between $47,000 and $63,000 in tuition, plus roughly $30,000 in living costs.
Pace University Tuition Fees for Indian Students 2027
Undergraduate tuition holds at a single annual rate. Graduate schools each price per credit; MS totals below assume 36 credits.

Insider note: Indian students at the Manhattan campus rarely pay Pace’s residence-hall rate for a full year. Sharing an apartment in Jersey City, Journal Square, or Astoria typically cuts housing to $1,200 to $1,600 a month, saving over ₹10 lakh a year on the sticker COL.

Pace University Campus, Facilities and Student Life
Pace University runs two campuses within an hour of each other. The New York City campus sits on One Pace Plaza in Lower Manhattan, opposite the Brooklyn Bridge, while the Pleasantville campus in Westchester covers 200 acres of suburban land.
- Location and transit: Manhattan campus is a two-minute walk from Fulton Street subway (2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, J, Z lines); Pleasantville has a Metro-North station on campus with a 50-minute ride to Grand Central.
- Housing: Guaranteed on-campus accommodation for freshmen; NYC rate roughly $25,400 a year for room and board. Upper-year international students commonly move to shared apartments in Queens or New Jersey.
- Career and industry links: Lubin’s Manhattan location places students inside walking distance of Wall Street; Seidenberg’s cyber lab partners with regional employers on internships.
- Indian community: Active Indian Students Association plus a South Asian student council; India ranks in the top five countries of origin for Pace graduate students.
What Indian students say: The Manhattan campus feels more like an office tower than a traditional university; the tradeoff is direct access to internships that suburban campuses cannot match. Class sizes are small and professors respond to email within a day.
Pace University Scholarships 2027
Pace considers all admitted international freshmen and select graduate students for institutional awards automatically. No separate scholarship application is filed for the two flagship categories below; funding decisions arrive with the admission letter.
| Scholarship | Type | Award Value (USD) | Eligibility | Deadline |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Academic Merit Scholarship (Freshmen) | Merit, renewable | $5,000 to $30,000 per year | International freshmen admitted to any Pace UG programme | Aligned with UG admission deadline |
| Dean’s and President’s Scholarships | Merit, graduate | Amount decided at admission | Graduate applicants with exceptional academic record | Aligned with PG admission deadline |
| Graduate Assistantship | Work-based aid | Tuition remission and stipend, amount by role | Graduate students with prior academic and work strength | Post-admission, verify at official portal |
[Source: Pace University Financial Aid for International Students]
Average institutional aid across freshmen sits at $24,174 (₹23.08 lakh) per year, and 92% of first-year students receive some form of aid. International graduate students should note that support cannot be added after admission is confirmed.
Planning note: A Bachelor’s CGPA above 8.0 or a Class 12 above 90% consistently attracts awards at the top of the $30,000 band. Applying by Early Decision or Early Action increases the funded seat pool available before Regular Decision reviewers see files.

Pace University Rankings 2027
Pace University’s strongest headline ranking is #273 in the U.S. News Best Colleges (National Universities) 2026 edition. It is not currently featured in the QS or THE world rankings but holds two notable subject positions.
| Ranking Body | Latest Edition | Previous Edition | Two Editions Back |
|---|---|---|---|
| QS World University Rankings | 2027: Not ranked in top 1500 | 2026: Not ranked in top 1500 | 2025: Not ranked |

| Collegedunia Study Abroad | #640 of 824 (2026) | NA | NA |
[Source: QS, Times Higher Education, U.S. News, ARWU, Collegedunia Study Abroad]
Two subject positions are worth flagging for Indian applicants. As per QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, Pace’s Lubin master’s in Marketing sits at #40 globally. As per the ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2024, Pace’s Psychology programme ranks in the #401 to #500 band and Business Administration at #401.
Key insight: The U.S. News National Universities placement matters more to Indian applicants than the absence from world lists, because F-1 visa officers and Indian employers reference the National Universities tier for private American institutions.

Pace University Placements and Career Outcomes 2027
Placement outcomes are strongest at Lubin, where the New York location translates into direct pipelines into finance, consulting, and technology roles.
- Lubin Master’s Class of 2023 outcome: 96% employed, in further study, or in service within a reporting window.
- Typical starting salary for MS graduates: $60,000 to $75,000 in New York-based roles (market median, university-level median not officially disclosed).
- Sectors hiring: Financial services and asset management, cybersecurity and cloud engineering (Seidenberg), publishing and media (Dyson), healthcare systems (College of Health Professions).
- STEM OPT extension: 24 additional months beyond the standard 12-month OPT for MS Business Analytics, MS Computer Science, MS Information Systems, and other STEM-designated tracks.
- Career support: Pace Path programme pairs every student with a mentor and structured internship placement; the Lubin Career Studio and Seidenberg career team publish annual employer outcomes.
Insider note: Indian graduates from Seidenberg and Lubin cluster into New York-based analyst, developer, and consulting roles because on-campus recruiting favours candidates already local. Applicants targeting FAANG or Big Four should plan H-1B sponsorship early in the 24-month STEM OPT window.
Pace University vs Peer Universities
The peer set below covers private universities in the New York metro that Indian applicants shortlist alongside Pace, plus one Boston comparator to anchor the private-university tier.
| University | U.S. News National 2026 | Collegedunia Study Abroad | Annual UG Tuition (USD) | Annual UG Tuition (INR lakh) | Differentiator |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| New York University | #30 | Ranked higher tier | $62,796 | 59.94 lakh | Elite global brand, higher bar for Indian applicants |
| Fordham University | #91 | NA | $63,681 | 60.78 lakh | Jesuit private with Lincoln Center and Rose Hill campuses |
| Pace University | #273 | #640 of 824 (2026) | $55,040 | 52.54 lakh | Manhattan campus at lower sticker, STEM-designated MBA |
| Adelphi University | #151 | NA | $50,650 | 48.34 lakh | Long Island campus, strong nursing and psychology |
[Source: U.S. News Best Colleges 2026, Collegedunia Study Abroad, university published tuition sheets. NYU and Fordham figures are the latest published sticker rates.]
Pace’s edge over Adelphi is the Manhattan address and STEM-designated business degrees; its trade-off against NYU is a lower ceiling on brand recognition against a materially lower total-cost sticker. The Pace vs NYU comparison page lays out the head-to-head data.
Pace is the right pick for an Indian applicant with strong-but-not-elite academics who values a Manhattan location, a STEM-eligible MBA or MS at a lower total sticker than NYU or Columbia, and access to internships within a subway ride. A four-year undergraduate here runs a total investment of roughly ₹210 lakh, which the reported Lubin master’s median starting salary of $60,000 to $75,000 can recover inside a 24-month STEM OPT window if graduates convert their internships.
Pace is not the right pick for applicants who need a QS top-200 brand for a family or employer optics filter, or for those seeking research-heavy doctoral pipelines outside Psychology and Business Administration. Fordham University is the closest realistic swap, with a Jesuit New York campus at a comparable tier and stronger business ranking.
Pace University FAQs
Ques. Does Pace University accept Duolingo scores from Indian applicants?
Ans. Yes. Pace University accepts Duolingo at every school on par with IELTS and TOEFL. Lubin and Seidenberg require Duolingo 115 minimum; Dyson non-Communication programmes, Education, and health tracks require 115; Communication and Digital Media, Nursing PhD, and clinical health tracks require 130. Scores must be within two years of application submission.
Ques. Can Indian students work part-time while studying at Pace?
Ans. F-1 visa holders at Pace University can work up to 20 hours per week on campus during term and 40 hours per week during official breaks. Off-campus paid work requires Curricular Practical Training (CPT) authorisation tied to an internship credit, or Optional Practical Training (OPT) after one full academic year. Career Services runs weekly workshops on CPT sponsorship documentation.
Ques. Is GRE or GMAT required for Lubin and Seidenberg master’s programmes?
Ans. No. GRE and GMAT are not required for most Lubin MS, Lubin MBA, and Seidenberg MS applications. Applicants may still submit scores voluntarily to strengthen a Dean’s or President’s scholarship review, particularly where undergraduate CGPA sits below the recommended 6.0 out of 10 threshold. Waiver logic is set at the school level, not university level.
Ques. What credential evaluation service does Pace University require?
Ans. Pace University accepts World Education Services (WES) course-by-course evaluations for graduate applicants presenting an Indian bachelor’s degree. Undergraduate applicants submit official Class 10 and Class 12 transcripts directly from the board; WES is not mandatory at the UG level. Applicants should order WES at least eight weeks before the intended deadline because Indian transcript issuance runs slow.
Ques. What is the Pace University application fee and can it be waived?
Ans. The Pace University application fee is $50 (₹4,772) for undergraduate applicants and $70 (₹6,681) for graduate applicants. Fee waivers are available through partner programmes such as Common App fee waivers for financial hardship, participation in EducationUSA advising sessions in India, and direct requests to graduate admissions when a scheduled Pace admissions officer meets an applicant at an India recruitment event.
Ques. Are Indian education loans from SBI, HDFC Credila, or Avanse accepted at Pace?
Ans. Yes. Pace University is on the recognised-institution list of every major Indian education loan lender, including State Bank of India, HDFC Credila, Avanse Financial Services, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and Auxilo. Loan sanction letters are commonly issued against the Pace I-20 for the total cost of attendance figure. Non-collateral limits typically cover up to ₹50 lakh; higher amounts need co-applicant income proof or fixed-deposit collateral.
Ques. How long does STEM OPT last for Pace University master’s graduates?
Ans. STEM-designated master’s programmes at Pace University qualify for a 24-month OPT extension in addition to the standard 12-month OPT, giving a total 36 months of post-completion work authorisation. STEM designation covers MS Business Analytics, MS Computer Science, MS Information Systems, and select Seidenberg tracks. Non-STEM programmes cap at the standard 12-month OPT window.
Ques. What support does Pace University offer Indian students on arrival?
Ans. The International Students and Scholars (ISS) office runs a mandatory pre-arrival webinar in July and August, an in-person International Orientation covering F-1 rules and SEVIS check-in, and airport pickup coordination through the student ambassadors programme. Ongoing support includes SSN application help, tax filing workshops in March and April, and health insurance enrolment. Indian Students Association hosts a Diwali function and cultural events through the year.

- The location of the university is great - it's in downtown Manhattan, right beside the Brooklyn Bridge and within walking distance of WTC and Wall Street
- The fees are lower compared to other colleges. For my program, it was around $52K, which was further reduced by the merit scholarship I received.
- The faculty and staff are extremely supportive and approachable. The professors were always available if I needed any and they were very understanding.
Dislikes
- The classes that I took had majority of Indian students, which made it feel like I was still in India. There was not much scope to experience the cultural diversity in the classes.
- The New York Campus being comparatively smaller than the other campus, had limited number of on campus jobs were limited and most of the available positions were usually filled through referrals by students who already worked there. Each school buildings dispersed within a radius 2-3 blocks.
- Had a few mandatory courses for IS, which were very basic and not all were waived off even though I had studied the same during my Bachelors.
Campus Life
- Pace University has two campuses: the New York City campus, located in downtown Manhattan, right next to the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Pleasantville campus in Westchester County. I studied at the NYC campus. The NYC campus does not have large sports grounds due to limited space, but it has a gym with all the equipment and a basketball court. At the NYC campus, we have a library, computer labs, and study rooms for individuals and groups. It also has a health care centre.
- In terms of student life, there are many events, workshops and celebrations going on throughout the year. At Pace, PISA (Pace Indian Student Association) is one of the most active student groups. They organise celebrations for Indian festivals like Holi, Diwali and Eid. And yes there is amazing Indian food served at the Diwali celebration!!!
- From what I have heard, there is also a drama club, a dance club, a knitting club and an LGBTQ club. The clubs organise various socializing events. One event that I participated in was going to a Broadway show called "& Juliet" the tickets to which were sponsored by the LGBTQ club. One of my friends was part of the knitting club, where they used to meet on specific days of the week and knitting together helping each other out when someone is stuck. New knitters were also welcomed and they taught them how to knit.
- Apart from cultural events, the career services organizes career-related workshops such as resume-building sessions, LinkedIn workshops, interview preparation sessions, and career fairs.
- Although the NYC campus is smaller, there are still several clubs and student organizations one can join based on your interests. The area around the campus, being in the heart of Manhattan, also provides many extracurricular opportunities outside the university, from tech meetups to cultural festivals and public events.
Fees
-
As mentioned on I-20, the estimated cost for 1 academic year was:
- Tuition and fees: $25560
- Living Expenses: $23000
- Health Insurance, Books, and personal expenses.: $3730
- Total estimated cost for 1 year: $52290
- The fees were charged semester-wise, and the tuition cost is credit-based. For my program, the fees were $1,420 per credit during the first two semesters, which was later increased to $1,490 per credit. In addition to tuition, there are mandatory university charges such as the International Student Fee, technology fee, university health care centre fee, and some other fees, which together add up to approximately $500–$600 per semester.
- I live off-campus at Journal Square, Jersey City. Over 2 years, my rent was between $500-$600 per month. For food, I cooked at home, so my grocery bill came to around $200-$300/month. For commute by train to NYC costs $2.9/ride, which totals up to around $150. Additional miscellaneous expenses, including phone bills, utilities, eating out, etc., cost around $200/month. So, on average, my monthly expenses came to around $1150.

Dislikes
- On-campus Part time opportunities which are very difficult to get.
- Transportation service, as there is no any transportation service in NYC campus for students like other universities provide.
- Tuition fees, as most of the students will get scholarships which is fine but if a person who didn't get any kind of scholarship might witness huge amount of tuition fees.
Campus Life
- Our university conducts almost 3 events every week which are helpful and enjoyable like tech events, clubs, fun events etc.
- My university has 2 Campuses the main campus is located at Westchester NY, whereas the other one is located in NYC. Many of the Indian students prefer to study at NYC campus. My university have all type of facilities be it a library, indoor ground and medical support hall. Based on the occasions in a particular week my university conducts every possible event for both international and domestic students. It includes various fun activities, free food, dance and music etc.

GREAT COLLEGE LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE CITY, HAVING A GREAT RETURN ON INVESTMENTS

Faculty and location is the main reason. The research in my field from this college made me choose this college. Also, NYC is the financial hub of the world, and studying in a college with such a great alumni network will definitely help me in my professional career.
Fees
The program fee is $50,000 for 33 credits.
Overview
It's one of the few colleges with an arts management program and it's in an amazing location. I got into several more selective college but Pace offered me admission to the honors college & gave me a lot of scholarships. I applied to eight colleges and was accepted to four. I graduated a year early with a 3.8 GPA. The Pace application was 50 bucks.
Fees
My program is about 40,000 a year. I have been awarded multiple scholarships from the honors college (amounting $25000) which require me to maintain a 3.3 GPA and remain enrolled in the honors college. I have a federal PLUS loan to pay the rest. I believe international students in the honors college are eligible for honors scholarships.
