Likes
- affordable fee structure, scholarship, location and easy to network with other people.
- The infrastructure and the location, on campus faculties and the recreational rooms and labs. its located next to Brooklyn bridge so you will never get bored for sure.
Dislikes
- Due to current market scenario we are not having internships in hand, the on campus jobs are also very limited. so, yes expenses takes a toll on your mental health.
Its just one semester and overall it is moderate experience for me.
Course Curriculum
I will say its a mixture of traditional and new syllabus also it depends from professor to professor and the way the course is executed in the class, its my master course so we have research and practical based learning.
Exams
GRE was waived off during my application period, my toefl score was 82/100, they accepted DUOLINGO as well back then, not sure what the exact requirements for now, you can visit university website for the latest information.. Placement
right now, I cannot comment on this. the market is very fragile. last year the median salary was $92K for one of the student.

USD 60,000- for two years for my MS in CS program, it keeps on varying year to year.
Scholarship
Yes, $4200/- per year. They usually provide scholarship based on the student profile, most of students at my university received this ranging from 4000 to 6000 USD per year.
Faculty
Currently the faculties are shuffling, the old and renowned faculties are not part of university anymore, handful of professors who had been part of university are teaching and we have new faculties now to teach the new batches, the faculty to student ratio varies from course to course for some courses its 1:10 to 1: 38.
Campus Life
Its all 2024 technology, we have everything here all the updated labs, facilities, the only thing is being a masters student, I wont get much time to explore everything on campus due to hectic schedule.
Hostel
I live in a shared apartment and the average rental is USD500 excluding taxes and other expenses.
