- There is nothing to dislike about the University, the fact that so many things keeps happening in the university, it becomes a task to decide which events to attend and which not to. From workshops, to case competitions to hackathons, to industry sessions, NYU has it all. There is so much more to do apart from the curriculum is the thing i like the most about NYU.
Campus Life
- The campus life is very lively. The infrastructure is top notch with the highest of facilities available for students. From startup accelerators, to research labs, everything is covered. There are tons of extracurricular activities that takes place. NYU has more than 300 clubs on campus and we have multiple events taking place every day where we get to network and even work on our skills. For NYU we have two campuses, one in Brooklyn and the main campus is in Manhattan, we have free bus facilities to travel from any one campus to other, and have access to every university building.
- We have libraries in both the campuses, Manhattan being the main campus has a dedicated 12 floor library building for students that remains open 24x7 and can accommodate 2500+ students at a time. So students can go there at any time to study. There are a number of sport facilities also available for students. We have access to Gym, swimming pool, and other sports facilities.
Fees
- The tuition fees for my course is around $45,000 for one year and since it's a two year course, it's around $90,000 for the entire course. This fees can be lowered if you get scholarship from the university. Scholarships are granted to admitted students based on their profile and the form they submit to get into the university.
- They usually offer 1 year fixed scholarship, and the same scholarship continues for the second year only if you maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and above at the end of the first year.

Likes
- The professors are very good here, they are very passionate about their subjects and they are ready to help us with anything we want. They engage the class so well that we will be pulled into the class, and we will be curious to learn.
- There are tons of events going on always every week I can see that there are atleast 5 events going on where I can even get free food.
- There are lots of clubs where you can explore your interests, starting from the painting club to the space club. There are as many clubs as you want. You can have any hobby, there will be a club at NYU.
Dislikes
- We don't have a campus here. The campus is very small, and we have buildings with the flag of NYU all around New York, which is when we understand ohhh!!! this is also NYU, it's plain buildings, we won't get the experience of college vibes with big campuses. It feels like just going to college and coming back to the room.
- The fee here is very expensive. Its very huge amount which takes up most of the money we spend here.
- Living expenses is also very expensive compared to other colleges, the rent is very high in NYC and also other expenses.
Campus Life
- We have 2 campuses, one in Manhattan and another in Brooklyn. Most of our classes will be in NYU Tandon, which is located in Brooklyn. We have free shuttle services to travel between these campuses.
- We have multiple libraries; one of them is the Dibner Library in the Tandon campus, and there are more in the Manhattan campus. We can also access public libraries using our NYU ID. We can access our college gym with ID for free and also the swimming pool and all sports facilities. We can take medical insurance from NYU which is expensive.
- The major events are the NYU entrepreneurial festival, and we will be celebrating all Hindu festivals in the Hindu Student Union. We have an Entrepreneurial club which is in the top 8 in the US.
- We have a very good club for Hindu students and also other religions. They will celebrate their festivals, and they will have weekly events. For example, in the Hindu student union we have weekly Darshanas where we will be performing poojas. And we will celebrate all festivals like Dussehra, Diwali, and Ganesh Chaturti. We have basketball, and one drawback is that we don't have any open stadium or court. SO it is difficult for those who want to play outdoor games.
Fees
- The tuition fee comes to around $23000 per semester, so we will have 4 semesters in 2 years. Finally, we will be paying $92000 as the tuition fee. In addition to this, we have to take health insurance, which will cost us 960 per semester for NYU health insurance.
- The fee should be paid semester-wise, or there is another option to pay in instalments, for which they will charge an extra few dollars.
- I am paying a total rent of 860 for a private room, including all utilities. The cost for utilities would be around $60. Other than that, for food, travel and other things we will be spending around $300. Totally, we need 1200 minimum per month for living expenses with a private room.

- The campus is well maintained, modern and has a great environment for learning as classrooms are high-tech and spacious.
- On-campus opportunities are quite good if you work smart you will get opportunity and wages are quite high.
- NYU provides one of the best networking opportunities.
Dislikes
- The university has multiple buildings across the city, making it less centralized and sometimes inconvenient to navigate.
- On-campus jobs and assistantships are limited and highly competitive.
- Being located in the middle of a busy city, certain areas around campus can feel unsafe during late hours.
Campus Life
- The college has multiple campuses spread across the city, including the main campus in downtown Manhattan and Engineering campus in Brooklyn. Facilities have huge libraries, sports gyms, medical clinics, and study lounges.
- Libraries have study pods as well for individual and group study. Popular events include the annual Tech Fest and career fairs and cultural events, including Indian Cultural events. There are many clubs like coding, cybersecurity, dance, and so on, which provide great extracurricular options to engage students.
Fees
- Semester-wise breakdown of fees, where we need to pay for credits we take and per-credit cost was $2100. Per Semester we are expected to take 9 credits, and last semester, 3 credits.
- Monthly expenses depend, but for me it was $1100 on an average. There are many ways to make it cheaper and most of the expense will be for your housing. For me its 780 and I am switching to 610 now so it will be cheaper.

- Some popular fests and events include NYU’s Strawberry Festival, Welcome Week, and the NYU Music Festival. There are also cultural and career events throughout the year. There are tons of clubs and organizations, including ones for academic interests, cultural groups, volunteer work, and career networking. Personally, I’m involved in debate, student government, and a community service club. - Have to pay for credits used for internship.
Campus Life
- My college have a lot of campuses. They have quite a lot in New York, Washington DC, Shanghai, Abu Dhabi. All of the facilities are available in most of the campuses such as student lounge, basket ball court, swimming pool, library, medical center, gym etc.
- Major campus festivals are NYU All Campus Tournaments in which various departments across NYU compete in various games to win prizes. There are a lot of clubs for extra curricular activities such as painting club, singing club and many more.
Fees
- The fee structure is around $70000. There are 4 semesters each consisting of 9 credits. Remaining 3 credits can be divided into 1.5 each which allows you to do summer and spring internships.
- Cost of per credit was around $2305. Insurance cost is separate which is around $3k. The fees are charged semester-wise and have to before every semester begins. I pay $800 for a private bedroom including all utilities and $200 for food and $70 for transportation.

- NYU is known for its research, and many professors are considered pioneering researchers in their field, so being at NYU gives me many chances to work with them.

- As it has many schools within the university, so I get to make great connections in academia, as well as industry.
Dislikes
- It is a very costly university, so I have to pay high tuition fees.
- The university has an open campus, which does not look good.
- It is in New York City, so living expenses are also high.
Campus Life
- NYU has basically two campuses in New York City. One in Manhattan, and the other in Brooklyn.
- All the campuses have been equipped with the same facilities, including libraries, sports complexes, and medical services.
- The major festivals are Tech Fest, Diwali, New incoming students Orientation, New Year party, etc.
- They celebrate events from all races around the world. Like Holi, Diwali, Lunar New Year, Dragon Fest, etc.
Fees
- 74000$, 2450$ for each credit, and the degree requirement is 30 credits. So, the credit * cost of each credit is the total tuition fee, which is 740000$.
- Semester-wise, but according to credits taken in the respective semester. So, it is also not the same every semester.
- 1000$(600 rent, 200 groceries, 200 - bills, 100 - miscellaneous). Some of my friends also spend around 1500 on monthly expenses.

Overview
I chose this college because I wanted to upskill my copywriting skills and Humber College was the only college which offered a course that would help me do so within the budget that I had planned. Overall experience I would say has been great so far. Right from the moment I came here it has been a smooth ride. I enjoyed the courses I chose, I made good friends.
Campus Life
The campus is beautiful. It is quite scenic and the classes are spacious and well-equipped. Also, there are activities that happen at Humber round the year.

Overview
Till now it has been great. Extremely tough curriculum, but it is after all NYU. There have been many great events. Even one job fair. It is great but little too expensive. For MS students in Courant and Stern they don’t give any scholarships which is bad. Otherwise great. Good faculty, tough but good.
Campus Life
Great campus. Well build structure. Many extracurriculars clubs, events and activities on campus as well as great research facilities, libraries, WiFi, 2 gym facilities etc.
