- I opted for off campus accommodation in the Bed Stuyvesant area. One of my friends found and invited me to join the lease. Monthly rent is around $800 including all utilities(hot water, gar, electricity) for private bedroom.
- The only challenge we encountered was to find the guarantors. Guarantors charge a lot of money approx. $1000 to guarantee that you would be able to pay the rent. My accommodation is approx. 20 mins from college. Most of the Indian students stay in Bayridge or journal square.

Accommodation
- I first made my roommates, and then we looked for online websites like Zillow, Craiglist, etc.
- My monthly rent is 620$ for my location, and there is a refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, and a room heater there.
- The main problem was there was no one there who could verify the accommodation in person.
- First make a group, then start looking for an apartment from May itself, because it takes time to get an apartment.
- It's 6 miles from my location. Most of them stay in the same area where I live.

I currently live in an apartment which is an hour away from college and share it with two other people.
I chose this college because I wanted to upskill my copywriting skills and Humber College was the only college which offered a course that would help me do so within the budget that I had planned. Overall experience I would say has been great so far. Right from the moment I came here it has been a smooth ride. I enjoyed the courses I chose, I made good friends.

Great living space in NYC. One room will be approx $900 per month. Extra expenses approx 100$.
Till now it has been great. Extremely tough curriculum, but it is after all NYU. There have been many great events. Even one job fair. It is great but little too expensive. For MS students in Courant and Stern they don’t give any scholarships which is bad. Otherwise great. Good faculty, tough but good.

- NYC, good rank. Amazing professors. It wasn't until I reached here I found out that the college had soo much more to offer.
- Tons of resources. There is a state of the art 3D printing lab. The college provides scholarships and awards for attending conferences and we have our own startup lab for students, faculty and alumni. They also provide mentoring and coaching for startups. The professors are very enthusiastic about teaching and are very well accomplished in their research.
Dislikes
- Location, NYC. It is pretty expensive and the subway is horrible. But then again the city has it's charm and soo much to do everyday. The college is also spread out throughout the city so you may have to travel if you have classes in different schools.
Accommodation
I pay 960 USD for a decent sized room in a three bedroom apartment with one bathroom. It takes about 20 to 30 mins to reach campus via subway and when the subway is running late it can take upto 40 to 45 mins (usually on weekends when they are doing repairs). I live in Bensonhurst in Brooklyn. Finding a rental apartment is VERY difficult especially for students. I would highly recommend getting a guarantor but they need to earn 80x the rent of the apartment (my apartments entire rent is 2600), so it's difficult unless you know some rich people here. I do not have a guarantor. I spoke to Rachel +1 (917) 306-7539 she is a real estate agent and she's very helpful in finding rental apartments for students in NYC.
I really enjoy studying at NYU, we have soo many resources that two years does not seem enough to explore and use all of them. We also have a safety cab service where we can book free cabs between 11pm and 6 am but only between campus buildings. We also have a box office where we can book cinema and broad way show tickets for heavily discounted prices. The education here is amazing and you will learn a lot if you choose to. Scoring marks depends on how much you actually learn and perform in the college.
Accommodation
I found off-campus housing in Brooklyn. It would be wise to budget at least $2k/ month in living expenses because NYC is expensive!
Location in heart of NYC and a strong finance program with significant alumni presence in the industry were two major reasons I chose this program. Getting a full-tuition scholarship made the decision easier.
Accommodation
New York is an expensive city.. so the avg cost is around $600-800 per month.. for a room sharing with a roommate.. the living costs are much higher ..
New York university is one the best highly reputed universities. The biggest advantage being it’s location.. based in the heart of New York city.. where there are abundant opportunities and jobs for everyone.
