Campus Life
- Everything is really well and easily accesible at the campus and there are a lot of clubt to network
Fees
- On average $10,000 USD per quarter(Pretty expensive)
Likes
- I Like the environment around the campus, one most thing I enjoyed was quarter system, Diversity of Drexel, Drexel Univeristy provide alot of scholarships program which students can apply and get one of them, Different association which new students can participate and meet their co-students and make network.
- I was the part of one of their organization (IGSA).
Dislikes
- I will not say that i dislike anything about Drexel, because I enjoyed my 2 years of journey their and i cherish every moment. One I felt was selecting people in any organization should handle by advisor of the association not the students. That way you can create good team to organize events.
Campus Life
- University City Campus: The main and largest campus, located in the University City district of West Philadelphia.
- Center City Campus: Situated in downtown Philadelphia, this campus is home to the College of Medicine and other health-related programs.
- Queen Lane Campus: Located in the East Falls neighborhood, it houses first- and second-year medical students.
- Academy of Natural Sciences: An affiliate of Drexel, this is America's oldest natural history museum, focusing on biodiversity and environmental research.
Fees
- Drexel University charges around $60,000 per year for tuition, billed quarterly at approximately $20,000 per term. Housing costs about $11,200 annually, and meals around $6,800. Including books, transportation, and personal expenses, the estimated monthly cost is about $2,300. Fees are charged on a per-term basis, not yearly or credit-based. Financial aid is widely available.
Likes
- The course curriculum is interesting.
- Course has right blend of theory and practical stuff.
- The professors are highly talented and helpful.
Dislikes
- Campus life is not that great, saince the university is scattered in the city.
- The course during the initial quarters is not that great, as it focuses more on the history of games and digital media.
- At times, the course felt it had unnecessary filler subjects.
Campus Life
- The university has almost 9-10 campus buildings, excluding the library, gym, and medical centre.
- There are very few festivals and events done during the initial quarter.
- But there were some notable Holi, Diwali, and Bollywood events going on every year.
- We have many clubs for different sports like Badminton, Squash, Swimming, Boxing, BasketBall.
Likes
- I like the CO-OP opportunity at Drexel University. It will give me industrial experience along with academics.
Dislikes
- I dislike the quarter pattern in my university. It makes my studies hectic. I literally have exams every month!
Overview
I chose this university for the CO-OP opportunity, speciality in the Pharmaceutical industry. The university helped me to develop my resume, LinkedIn profile, etc.
Campus Life
There are very less extracurricular activities or clubs for master's students because of the hectic schedule. Most of the clubs and extracurricular activities are for undergrad.
Likes
- The campus is located in the city so you get to experience true city life while also getting a campus.
- Lot of accommodation options and also really affordable as compared to other cities.
- Lot of food options, especially international food.
Dislikes
- The academics could be better.
- It lacks community because we don't have a lot of focus on sports, so the college doesn't get a chance to come together and celebrate Drexel.
Overview
I picked this over any other college because of its city-integrated campus. It also had business analytics as an option for a STEM degree, even though it was a co-major, so only 24 extra credits. Also liked their co-op system where you get to intern full-time with big companies, almost promising a return offer in the future.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs on campus and you'll be introduced to most of them within the first few months of being there. The student body is very engaging, you can even start your own club like I did. There are constant events happening every single day in every single building. I am not sure about research facilities. The library is really old but feels homely and like a safe space to work out of. Our gym is the biggest in all of Philadelphia, it has two floors of gym space, a pool, a basketball court (indoor and outdoor, which is used for multiple different activities), a golf simulator, squash courts, table tennis, and more. They also let you rent out equipment so you can use all these facilities for free.
Likes
- Campus is pretty diverse and students are always onto something haha
- Faculty is helpful and good at what they do. Teaching is v important and I found it to be top tier
- Co-op program is easily the BEST in the country. I highly recommend opting for the 5 year 3 coop option
Dislikes
- I wish there were more activities outside of regular university co curriculars. Would have loved to explore more
- More social events where I could network more. Maybe I needed to sign up for more so I guess more marketing of those events?
- Post Graduation resources are a little scarce. Wish I could stay in contact more
Overview
I had taken the SATs and applied for Drexel University alongside 4 other universities (Texas A&M, NYU, Purdue, and Penn State). I got in all the above listed and got deferred in NYU. The application process specifically for Drexel was pretty straightforward. I had to submit my SAT score, write 2 essays, and fill out the application form, and financial aid form. I had applied early decision.
Campus Life
Campus life is very lively and very fun. Something or the other is always happening haha You'll find a lot of international students as well Infrastructure is pretty modern but at the same time some buildings are archaic so it's a good mix Sports facilities could be better, to be honest There were a lot of South Asian clubs so highly recommend those :)
Overview
Course Curriculum, Alumni Network. LeBow in particular has a great alumni network and the careers team here is exceptionally nice and helpful.
Fees
The fee calculation is per credit. For LeBow College of Business, it is $1139 per credit. You also pay an enrollment fee each quarter. If you are enrolled full-time for a particular quarter(full-time would mean 9 credits or more) it is $280. For quarters where you are enrolled part-time (like summer during internship or last quarter where you mostly have 3/6 credits left or any number of credits below 9), it is $140. So the fee for the full-time quarter with 9 credits is calculated as - (1139*9)+280= 10,531. The scholarship amount is awarded based on the number of credits you take in each quarter. It is evenly distributed according to it.
Overview
They're a private school, specializing in co-ops, and are among the best in the country with connections to Fortune 500 companies. Students are able to gain 2 years of experience even before graduation.
Fees
$75,000 is the program fee.
Overview
I chose Drexel for the co-op program and also because I planned to transfer before I started and my counselor told me a private school would be easier to transfer from.
Fees
Approximately $70,000 per year so a total of around $280,000.
