I picked this over any other college because of its city-integrated campus. It also had business analytics as an option for a STEM degree, even though it was a co-major, so only 24 extra credits. Also liked their co-op system where you get to intern full-time with big companies, almost promising a return offer in the future.

Course Curriculum

The course syllabus for Marketing was very similar. I found myself studying similar things in every class. Business Analytics was really informative and helpful, each class progressed and was mildly difficult to follow.

Exams

- My scores: SAT 1200/1600 , IB score 27/45 , TOEFL 80/120 - I don't remember my grades from 10th grade, but they were good. 2-3 A's 2-3 B's. Predicted IB score: 35/42. Actual IB score: 27/45 - Requirements: I had to submit my CV, and a lot of focus was on volunteering work. I didn't have any interviews with the university. I also submitted 3 LORs from professors that were related to my major.

It varies depending on the major that you pick, if you're in the medical field in Philly, you've hit the jackpot. The city is filled with med school students, and Philly is known for its healthcare, and hospital infrastructure. Because of the co-op program, you get to have an in with companies, all my friends got placed in big companies: Apple, Microsoft, JP Morgan, BlackRock etc. I didn't do the co-op system so I am still applying for full-time roles. I would say the median salary is between 70k-150k depending on what you pursue.

Faculty

Faculty and staff are very approachable and very helpful. I would always set up one-on-one meetings with them and they would always guide me. I would meet my professors at least once every week. My Business Analytics or Management Information Systems professor AJ Raven was the BEST.

Campus Life

There are a lot of clubs on campus and you'll be introduced to most of them within the first few months of being there. The student body is very engaging, you can even start your own club like I did. There are constant events happening every single day in every single building. I am not sure about research facilities. The library is really old but feels homely and like a safe space to work out of. Our gym is the biggest in all of Philadelphia, it has two floors of gym space, a pool, a basketball court (indoor and outdoor, which is used for multiple different activities), a golf simulator, squash courts, table tennis, and more. They also let you rent out equipment so you can use all these facilities for free.
