How to Pay Tuition Fees at Pace University as an International Student?

International students pay tuition and fees through Pace University's online systems. They use dedicated international payment partners to handle currency conversion and reduce fees.

  • Log in to the Pace Portal with your Pace credentials. Go to the Student Home Tab, select Billing and Payment, then choose Make a payment.
  • Use Flywire for payments from outside the U.S. It supports many country-specific methods and currencies.
  • Use TransferMate to pay in your local currency from nearly any country. Access it through the Payment Portal. Benefits include accurate conversions, competitive rates, local payment methods, and faster posting.
  • Pay by electronic check (ACH) with no extra fee. Credit/debit card payments incur a convenience fee (around 2.95%-3%) charged by the processor.

Mail checks or money orders (include the student's full name and UID) to: Pace University, Payment Processing Centre, 161 William St, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10038. This method takes longer to process.

Note: Direct wire transfers are possible but not recommended. They risk delays or errors. Make payments at least 10 days before the due date.

  • View bills and due dates (e.g., Fall 2026: August 1, 2026) in the Pace Portal. Pay in full or enrol in an interest-free payment plan by the due date to avoid late fees and holds.
  • Overpayments may return to the sender. Keep credits on account for future charges if preferred.

Course Curriculum

  • The difficulty level of the course curriculum was different for different classes. The introductory courses were relatively easy, while the concentration-specific subjects were more challenging since many of the technologies and concepts were new to me. Overall, the curriculum was a blend of theory and practical, with a stronger emphasis on hands-on learning, assignments, and projects.
  • Pace University offers a number of concentrations under the MS in Information Systems program, such as Software Development, Data Science and Analytics, Healthcare Systems, UX, and more. I chose the Data Science and Analytics concentration. One drawback I experienced was that the program included a few mandatory core courses, which reduced the number of electives available for specialization.
  • Typically, each class had around 30 students. A major portion of the class, approximately 70–80%, was Indian students, which I consider a downside, as I was looking for a more diverse classroom environment.
  • In terms of scheduling, each class was held once a week. Most of my classes were in the evening 5 PM to 8 PM. Only one of my classes (Business Analytics) was a class offered by the Lubin School of Business.
  • Overall, the academic experience was well-structured and practical-oriented, though the limited diversity and the number of compulsory courses were some negative aspects, according to me.

Fees

  • As mentioned on I-20, the estimated cost for 1 academic year was:
    • Tuition and fees: $25560
    • Living Expenses: $23000
    • Health Insurance, Books, and personal expenses.: $3730
    • Total estimated cost for 1 year: $52290
  • The fees were charged semester-wise, and the tuition cost is credit-based. For my program, the fees were $1,420 per credit during the first two semesters, which was later increased to $1,490 per credit. In addition to tuition, there are mandatory university charges such as the International Student Fee, technology fee, university health care centre fee, and some other fees, which together add up to approximately $500–$600 per semester.
  • I live off-campus at Journal Square, Jersey City. Over 2 years, my rent was between $500-$600 per month. For food, I cooked at home, so my grocery bill came to around $200-$300/month. For commute by train to NYC costs $2.9/ride, which totals up to around $150. Additional miscellaneous expenses, including phone bills, utilities, eating out, etc., cost around $200/month. So, on average, my monthly expenses came to around $1150.

  • I live at off campus and it's easy to get off campus accommodation as there are many groups to find accommodation. Initially we might face challenges to get a right group but once we get a right accommodation group it's easy to find one. I recommend everyone to keep looking all the accommodation groups carefully and find a right accommodation and be carefully while paying the money if they ask as they are many scams going around us.

  • MS – Accounting Data Analytics was quite new and challenging for me, as there were a lot of analytics courses that were new for me. Mostly all the courses were a mix of both theoretical and practical.
  • The negative aspect of the course was the number of credits. My course required me to do 41 credits.
  • International students need a minimum of 9 credits per semester. Which are around 3 classes, and timings are usually in the evening from 5 pm to 9 pm.
  • Yes, the career services are very helpful in helping students find part-time, on-campus, and full-time jobs.
  • For me, Professor Kam Chan is the most admirable.

Fees

  • Per credit cost: $1,510 (Lubin Business School)
  • Health Insurance: 2361 Per Year
  • Admissions, Graduate Application: $70.00 Per Semester
  • Maintenance of Matriculation Fees: $50 Per Semester
  • General Institution Fees: $335 Per semester
  • International Student Fees: $55.00 Per Semester
  • Technology Fee (full-time students, fall and spring): $105.00 Per Semester
  • Fees are semester-wise.
  • Rent: $750 Private bed in Jersey City, which is an easy commute to Pace University
  • Transportation: $ 100 for Subway per month

  • It was very easy all u need to do was learn python as thorough as possible thats it. mostly it would be practical u will be doing alot of projects. My positive aspects would be u will be lots python project and so it will be helpful for ur resume and also for job hunt and if u take a look at the negative aspects i guess u will only be learning either python or SQL. So mostly my classes are 3 days in a week and also it is scheduled from 6 to 9 pm one class is online.
  • So part time jobs yea it is purely based on referrals and also it may sound racist but it is also based on the community u belong to like gujrati, marathi and also telugu yea i know it sounds weird but it is. I dont admire anyone.

Fees

  • So the tuition fees is $28782 and for living expenses it was $23000 and scholarship was $6000, health insurance was $2650 and in total it would be $54432, this yearly based and in total u have to complete 30 credits for your master's.
  • My monthly expenses would be like around $600 and if we break it down then the rent is $430, for travelling $70 and for food it would be $100.

It is an amazing experience. The course curriculum is based on the latest updates in the industry and includes a lot of guest lectures from industry experts. Faculties are experienced and have immense research knowledge in the field they are teaching.

My program is about 40,000 a year. I have been awarded multiple scholarships from the honors college (amounting $25000) which require me to maintain a 3.3 GPA and remain enrolled in the honors college. I have a federal PLUS loan to pay the rest. I believe international students in the honors college are eligible for honors scholarships.

It's one of the few colleges with an arts management program and it's in an amazing location. I got into several more selective college but Pace offered me admission to the honors college & gave me a lot of scholarships. I applied to eight colleges and was accepted to four. I graduated a year early with a 3.8 GPA. The Pace application was 50 bucks.
