- The difficulty level of the curriculum is much tougher than in India.
- It is very robust and practical as opposed to theoretical in India
- All mostly positives; got to learn a lot by doing things hands-on.
- Typically you take 4 courses in a semester; each would be like 3 or 4 credit hours, meaning 3 or 4 hours of class per week
- The number of students varies by class; for me it was from 20 to 40

Tuition: the tuition was 28,000 per year or 14,000 per semester. you have to register for 2 semesters per year: the fall semester and the spring semester. the summer semester is usually a break and you need not register. (I received more than this amount in scholarship + Graduate assistantship )

- The Campus is very big and the infrastructure is really amazing.
- The professors are very experienced and friendly with the students.
- The campus has police officers almost for every mile and every student feels very secured.
Dislikes
- Since, the campus is very long it takes a lot of time to walk from one building to another.
- The cold weather and snow makes us vulnerable to walk on campus.
- The crimes and gun shooting is a concern which takes place at least once or twice in a month.

- The academics are really great in our university and the difficulty of course curriculum I would rate it as medium.
- The students should take courses based on the professors, there are professors who are very strict while grading the assignments. So, students should make sure they select the professors who are friendly for their courses. Students should take advise from seniors.
Fees
- The Fees structure was around 30 lakhs in INR. It would be around 26k to 27k USD. In the I20, it is mentioned to carry around 50 lakhs in INR. But the fees including the health insurance issued by the university would charge around 27k USD for the student, the student can also bag a part time on campus for his monthly expenses.
- I had a scholarship of 6240 USD for my first year of the course. This scholarship is split between the two semesters of the first year in my university.

- Ohio weather can be difficult to adjust to for some people. ( Winters are really really cold )
- Housing - limited options around the campus and the ones that exist are quite expensive
- Safety - not the most dangerous area around campus but also not the safest

- The difficulty level of the course curriculum is dependent on the faculty. It is a mix of both theory and practical and often there is a final project that can be published in conferences. Very interactive and research-oriented approach in general. Also, collaboration is a big theme.
- The average number of students in my class were around 7-10 (not everyone takes all classes)
- Indian students are enrolled in my course around 3-5 (PhD Aerospace)
Fees
- Fees is around $11k per semester but most students get a scholarship reducing it to $3k per semester. Monthly expenses can easily be between 1000-1500 primarily because a private room in a 2bhk costs around $800 in a decent location/building.
- Food/drinks/groceries can be $200-300. Transportation is free around campus using university shuttle service. But anywhere else is $10 minimum via cab. Bus network isn't the best.

- My course’s curriculum was challenging at times but was very engaging. It offered a balance of theory and practical learning, with the main emphasis being on real-world experience. The faculty were experienced, friendly, and always willing to help. There was also a lot of flexibility in choosing electives, allowing students to focus on subjects that matched their career goals. The course curriculum was well-designed and offered real-world experiences in classrooms.
- Some semesters were overwhelming because of multiple deadlines for projects, assignments, and exams. Not all electives or advanced courses were available every semester, so planning ahead was important. Another challenge was working on group projects with international students; the time zone differences made it a little difficult.
- Typically, there were one or two classes, for 1.5–3 hour classes each day. The majority of classes took place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Class numbers vary by subject, with core classes having 25–40 students and electives having 15-20 students. The majority of the students in my program were Indian, comprising between 40 and 50 percent of the class.

- Since the last two years, the US job market condition is not so good. These days it is quite difficult to secure full-time job. I have seen students who got job after 1 year also. Overall I can say that about 40-50% of students would get full-time within 6 months of graduation.
- The average salary range is 110k-170k for students graduating from my program .It varies from company to company, job role , salaries ranges are different for Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer and students experience also.
- Students usually find jobs after graduation through LinkedIn. Reaching out to recruiters, making connections, applying on company portal.

- There are a lot of student organization clubs/ groups and so some or the other event is happening on campus every now and then. For eg. The Indian Student Association (ISA) hosts a lot of Indian festival events which don't make you feel as if you’re missing out.
- The campus is extremely beautiful and lively. It’s not too big nor too small and hence its easy to navigate and commute from one class to another.
- I love the faculty here (for the most part). If you take a professor that has a good rating before enrolling into classes it is very beneficial. They are super helpful and adjusting with regards to syllabus, exams, and leaves. They are also super helpful if you struggle with something in class.
Dislikes
- The weather at Cincinnati is very unpredictable. It can literally be sunny one day and rain heavily on the other and so you always have to check the weather before stepping out.
- Apart from the things that happen around campus, there isn’t a lot to do in Cincinnati. It has some very good restaurants and few other things that might interest you but they surely get over visited and eventually it doesn’t seem like there’s much to do.
- Since Cincinnati is an old city, most of the off-campus housing that is affordable is very old houses and the newer ones are comparatively at the higher end.

- I usually say job opportunities depend on what knowledge you have and what level of skills you have. But besides that, you will get more opportunities through this college by applying in Handshake. Most of the average salary would be 80k per annum. The highest salary I can't predict purely depends on skills and knowledge.

- For a CS major I feel the workload is heavy. Maybe I'm bad at managing my schedule but that's how it is.
- You have so many assignments and exams.
- I am not aware of the full-time job opportunities after graduation. But according to Google on average, I think it’s about $60,000 - $65,000 per annum. We have the career fair where many companies come and students can interact with the recruiters.
