IIITDM jabalpur review

Likes

The campus is huge,beautiful and lush green
The infrastructure of the college is quite good
Every basic amenities of the students are present

Dislikes

Mess facilities is not that good here in the college
As college is situated in outskirts,there is a problem of network
The teaching style of the faculties is not good

Placement Experience:

In our institute students become eligible for the placements from seventh semester when the first placement drive is conducted. We have very good placements here in our college. A good number of MNCs visit our campus to recruit students for example Google, Microsoft, Meesho, Atlassian, Goldman sachs etc

Pros and cons of iiitdm jabalpur

Likes

Lush green and big campus of 300 acres situated away from the noise of city.
All type of sports facilities are available and there is even is gym

Dislikes

There is sometimes issue with power and water cut.
Internet is a bit slow here and city is also a bit far

Final year students sit for campus placements . The highest package offered was 1.2 cr and average is about 25 lpa for cse and a decent percentage of students got placed. Students got placed in companies like nvidia,attlasaim,Google,Microsoft.

Likes

I liked the sports club and coding culture
Canteens have great food at very effective cost
Seniors are very helpful and friendly with freshers.

Dislikes

Lack of good internet connection and too far from city
Mess food is below average and a bit unhygienic
The campus is a bit prone to wild animals

The course is very much good and quite interesting as well. Its very relevant with todays world and is good. The teachers and all staff members are very knowledgeable. All facilities are good indeed as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty and course curriculum is very good it is a bit hectic in 2nd year but if you attend regular classes you will not need to study from outside like YouTube, and it covers all the courses which will help in the future in real world, it should improve in management of the timing of classes, the timing and frequency of exams is very well managed

Likes

Hostel is good and facilities of hostel is almost good
Lecture hall and tutorials complex is very good
Our campus have canteen that's good thing

Dislikes

Quality of food in mess is not so good sometimes it's worse
Lan or internet service are very poor , we are facing a lot in network issue

Placement Experience:

From 3 year students have the opportunity of getting internship in various companies. In 7th semester company came here to give placement and students are eligible for the placement in 7th semester Last year highest package was around 1.2 Cr and average was around 20-22 lakh per annum.

nice coding culture, nice seniors and faculties, good clubs
amazing and fabulous events done by our cultural clubs during fests
nice placement and good network building in the club

Dislikes

distance from the city and due to that high delivery charges
fest not up to the mark,not many celibrities xcome , only local bands

The course curriculum of pdpm IIITDM jabalpur is nice its more focused on getting all the knowledge and experience we need to enter in the industry. there are 4 quizzes and one mid sem exam and one end sem exam, the faculties are good.

Likes

The coding culture of IIITDMJ is exceptional.
Sports clubs are vey good at their job especially cricket club
The campus placements are excellent as usual

Dislikes

There is no night life in campus after 11pm.
The curriculum is on slightly tough side
There is no non veg mess available in campus

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. top companies are atlasian, Amazon , Paytm, American express , meesho , Flipkart ,etc. the highest package on campus was 82 lpa by atlasian and off campus was 1.5 crore by mediatech. the average package is 18 lpa.

Honest IIITDM Jabalpur

The programming club of the college is very good. It is quite active. It takes regular sessions. It has pushed students like me. Those who are not very good and interested in coding Participate actively in it. The campus is very green and big the com
the Sports culture in the college is very good. The sports club is very active.
The cultural clubs are also very active and good.

Dislikes

The core labs are not very good. That teaching assistance don’t know the subject well.
The equipments in the core labs don’t work properly
The administration of the college is quite poor. They embezzle a lot of funds. The cultural and the technical clubs don’t get the funding allotted to them

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage of the college is 80%. The placements are decent a lot of good companies visit our college. Opportunities for girls are quite great. Students usually get internships in the third year but they have to go off campus to get them. A lot of students have got internships and big companies like Google Goldman sacchs, American Express, Nvidia Deloitte Qualcomm meesho etc. the highest package is 1CR and the average package is around 22 lakhs per annum

Here the weather and scenery here is good

The connectivity here to city is quite difficult ypu may have to take rickshaw for going to city

Acc. To me difficulty level of exams are not quite tough if you attend classes regularly or study well you can get a decent grade in each subject. And the course taught here is relevant for the real world applications.
