IIT Bombay UCEED 2026 Registration Begins; Apply by November 7

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has opened the online registration process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026 from October 1, 2025 to November 7, 2025. UCEED is an entrance examination for B.Des programs in IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur.

UCEED 2026 Registration Fee

Late Fee (after Oct 31, 2025): ₹500 for Indian nationals, $50 for foreign nationals.

Last date for late registration:November 7, 2025, 5:00 PM and the registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

UCEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet all three of the following:

1. Age Limit: Born on or after Oct 1, 2001 (OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL); Oct 1, 1996 (SC/ST/PwD)
2. Number of Attempts: Maximum 2 attempts in consecutive years
3. Qualifying Exam: First attempt in Class XII (or equivalent) in 2025 or 2026

UCEED 2026 Registration Process

• Visit the official website: uceed.iitb.ac.in
• Click on “Register” to create a new user account.
• Fill in personal / academic details into the provided sections.
• Upload documents in the required formats.
• Pay the applicable registration fee online.
• Submit the application and then download a copy for later reference.

UCEED 2026 Documents Required

1. Recent passport-size photo (JPEG)
2. Scanned signature (JPEG)
3. Proof of age (PDF)
4. Class XII certificate or school principal’s certificate (PDF)
5. Valid category certificate (if applicable, PDF)
6. PwD certification/Dyslexic and scribe request forms (if applicable)
7. Foreign national: Passport + OCI/PIO card (PDF)
