One of my friends who studied at IIITDM Jabalpur received the scholarship and has shared his experience with me. Scholarship Details As per the AICTE guidelines, every GATE-qualified student taking admission in M. Tech. program will get a PG Scholarship of INR 12400 per month as a research stipend. The tenure of this scholarship is for 24 months or for the duration of the course, whichever is lower. The year wise tution fees is 79,250 for each semester from my first year. So a total of Rs.158500 . And compuslory one time fees of Rs.15000, which includes registration, gymkhana and all other kind of fees. Apart from that the hostel charges Rs.22000 per year and the mess fees is around 25k-30k per year. From second year , i only have to pay tution , mess and hostel fees. Everyone should stay in hostel and availing mess is their option from 2nd year. For first year it's compulsory. Students from SC and ST categories do not have to pay any tution or college fees at all, which really reduces there financial burden. They only contribute towards the hostel and mess facilities, since they are compulsory for everyone who avails them. And my batchmates who are from Madhya Pradesh who are eligible for state government scholarship will get the amount of tution fees. They also need to pay only the mess and hostel facilities. Apart from that merit-cum-need scholarships are available in the college that support students who perform well academically and struggling financially. Overall the yearly fees is affordable and the person who can't pay are able to pay their fees with the help of scholarships

My College Experience

The fee for our batch was 73040 per semester excluding the message fee but you know mess was compulsory for 1st and 2nd year students and it was around 15000 per semester so you have to pay it in the first two years. We get a MCM scholarship which is awarded to know I guess 20 percentage of the batch size for 1st year and then decreases by 5 percentage every year. The thing is there is just no scholarship purely on income basis as most of the people qualify for this scholarship because the thresold income is around 800000 per year which most of the students qualify.

The year wise fees is around 200000 but since I'm sc student there is no tution fees for me Caution money , lab fees, development fees and other charges all together cost me around 17500 per semester for general/obc the fees will be around 200000 including everything and for St it is same as Sc, multiple scholarship are available as per category and merit.

The fees structure consists of mainly tution fees ,registration fees,examination fees,mess charges, internet and hostel charges . The tutuion fees for my batch of 2022 was ?62500 and it keep increasing every year right now its near ?85000 , per semester the hostel charges are ?11000 for a semester . For sc/st and pwd students there is relaxations in fees according to goverment norms, there is also a merit based scholarship in which if one is in top percentile in his discipline and course then his/her whole tution fees will be made free. My fees for first semester was ?100000(academics+hostel+other fees)+?15000(mess) and it goes to ?100000 for next all semesters.

The year wise fees is different for category students and general students. For general students the year wise fees is around 1.8 lakhs and for category students the year wise fee is around 60k. The college does provide scholarship schemes to students who are very good in academics which they say as merit cum based scholarship. Tuition fees for SC/ST/Pwd students is waived but for general students the tuition fees is around 71k. Under MCM scholarship the tuition fees is waived and permonth the students recvieve 1000 rs in their respective bank accounts.

There are no scholarships provided by the IITDM Jabalpur. However, there is a fee waiver for the SC/ST students. The SC/ST students are exempted from the payment of the tuition fee. Also, the students who belong to the SC/ST category and whose parents' income is less than 200,000 will be exempted from hostel fees and hostel establishment charges. For the general and OBC categories you can avail the benefits of scholarships offered by the various government schemes at the state or national level like NSP, MCM, etc. You can apply for this scholarship from the official website NSP/MCM portals.
