Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur was established in July 1947. The Institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalya. It is Second Engineering College in India and is the premier institution of engineering in Central India.

Admissions in JEC are purely based on the basis of entrance exams for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Admission to B.E degree courses is based on the State level Pre-Engineering Test, MP-PET conducted every year by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board Bhopal.
- For M.Sc. selection is purely based on the percentage obtained in B.Sc. degree examination, For MSC admission is based on the percentage obtained in B.Sc. degree.
- Admission in ME is based on the GATE score
- Selection in MCA is on the basis of merit of previous qualifying degree

- The mode of application for admission is online due to the current pandemic.
- Candidate would have to register themselves on the official website and then under the Renewal Admission Tab they should upload the necessary documents and pay the Application fee.

I chose rhis college because currently it has least fees in mp by comparing to aby engineering college and by comparing other government colleges the infrastructure is very good college has 220 acres of land but the placement is not that good by comparing to other colleges

- Jec jabalpur is best for its return on investment as its fee is very low and students can get package of 4-5 lakh per annum. Students can complete their 4 years of bachelor of technology in any field just under 1 lakh rupees .
- I likes the library of jec jabalpur , theres a great silence and very good place for study , although we can get free stationary items from there.
Dislikes
- Campus area is very big but 70% is under forest area.
- Infrastructure is weak , college genuinely needs to be renovate as it is not renovated from 1947.

I choosed jec jabalpur because it have the best return on investment and its fee is very low . Firstly we have to give the jee mains exam , then mpdte counseling starts in june or july after this we can get this college . I have opted this college above of uec ujjain and sati vidisha.

I have applied for sgsits indore but my jee mains rank did not match the cutoff. The admission process is simple you have to give jee mains exam and then you have to apply for counciling then you will get alloted to jec as your rank

I applied for sgsits Indore, iet davv Indore also. But got no luck for them. I got admitted in this college dur to financial conditions of my family. The admission process is also very bad I have to stayed for more than 8 hours in the college on the counseling day.
