Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur was established in July 1947. The Institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalya. It is Second Engineering College in India and is the premier institution of engineering in Central India.
JEC offers B.E degree courses in eight disciplines and nine postgraduate courses in engineering fields, three postgraduate courses in Applied Sciences, and M.C.A.

The Jabalpur Engineering College was honoured as the "Best Government Engineering College" in India for two years in a row (2011-2012) by Star News. I applied for various colleges like in gyan ganga institute of technology And since jabalpur. I choose jec because of its excellent work in engineering since last 75 years. I have applied for sgsits indore but my jee mains rank did not match the cutoff. The admission process is simple you have to give jee mains exam and then you have to apply for counciling then you will get alloted to jec as your rank

I also applied to IET DAVV INDORE which I didn't get because of my low marks and choose this college as it has a very low fees and i choose this college as it has a good placement statistics you can also get into this college by participating in MPDTE counselling by giving an exam named JEE MAINS if you are from general category you can get this college for above 75 percentile

I applied for sgsits Indore, iet davv Indore also. But got no luck for them. I got admitted in this college dur to financial conditions of my family. The admission process is also very bad I have to stayed for more than 8 hours in the college on the counseling day.

College is affordable in the outskirts of jabalpur with a good infrastructure and nice neighbourhood. Admission process is very simple and there are no such prerequisites for admission except an allotment letter

I have got this college from mpdte counseling. If you are thinking of getting admission to this college you have to take the JeeMains exam. Without appearing in jee college not gonna accepts you. It accepts students whose ranks are below 1lacs.
Admission process Admission is directly done by the basis of the JEE Mains result and with the International mode also by the MEA quota for the International students, cutt off is higher for the CSE and AI department
