There is a college fest like aavahan which is a sports fest and there are several clubs in college too which give a boost to students for performing their best in college and enjoy.
Yes, thare are scholarship opportunities for many students of obc sc and st categories.
Faculties are good here, they are kind, helpful and way of teaching is very nice.

Dislikes

Worst part of college is that no placement are being done companies are not visiting college
Admission process is simple but you may face problems in some situations.
Only few students got hostels and hostels conditions are not good

The college fees is very minimal compared to other colleges
There are a total of 8 hostels for boys and 3 for girls.

Dislikes

The placement is quite average although the college is very old

Placement Experience:

The placement is not very good but if you are a decent student you will land a campus placement. Although it's not much (around 4 lpa) but it's not that bad considering it's college fee. Most of the students of this college are preparing for government exams, GATE etc as the attendance policy is not strict so you get plenty of time to prepare for it.

Reality of JEC Jabalpur

Likes

The best thing about this college is its affordability . unlike other colleges students have much more relief over fees. total btech fees is around 90k .
faculties are supportive and environment is learning friendly. Caliber students come here so students have competitive spirit in them . Attendance is not an issue in most of the branches, students have much time to work on their skills .
Attractive points about the college include the new artificial intelligence and data science branch and its new building which includes ai and mechatronics department.

Dislikes

college carries old infrastructure in name of the legacy, especially the civil department and labs are not well maintained
Placements here are concerning. Students must not depend solely on placements.
there are no internship opportunities for the students provided by the college.

Placement Experience:

See, you can't say that there are no placements, companies come and hire students with skills, its just that the ratio is low because of current market. In core branches , psus also come to offer placements. In our college you can't expect product based companies, instead you get placements in service based tech companies as per your skills. Most of the placements are in cse and it branch.

Jabalpur Engineering College enough review

College campus is big about 250 acres of area under the college and all departments septrated with each other . Civil ,Mechanical branch is build by britishers like that is tell about history and estabilished in 1947 year till today.
Labs , Workshops , Library , Basketball court ,Bank and Postoffice is in the campus was good .
Faculty is good about teaching of all the departments and some activity was happened in the campus and a big hall is called Jasan Hall .

Dislikes

Curriculum was good but not about practical knowledge and industry ready .
Sport facilities is not enough like sport coach and not enough facility for sporting like batminton court not provide us .
Group intraction is ok ok not enough for like extra curriculum.

Yes that is true there is placements happened but average and low placement ratio there is because of students skills but for employability you can placed out of campus that is good option . After getting degree did mtech was good or other government like exam there was option and also out of campus placement with enough skill demand is a better option more than college placements

Faculties are vera helpful smart and friendly
Collage infrastructure is very good and decent
Placement is decent like 4.41 avg and 19 lpa highest

Dislikes

Extra curriculum activity not happening.
Only study related talks. Not give opportunities for other skills
Placement has decreased after COVID this time

From 5th semester the students become eligible for campus placement. The company visits in jabalpur enjeeniring college are ibm infrocyc , Mahindra tech , and all others. The highest package from jabalpur engineering college is 45 lpa

Everything about JEC Jabalpur

Likes

Hostels are nearby the departments so that make easier travel .
All the labs are mostly in the department so easy to go and learn
New building of my department which is mechatronics is way too good in infrastructure

Dislikes

We face some time drinking water issues which can be resolvable
In girls hostel there are limited seats so many of girls live in the PGs
Girls to boy ratio in the computer science department, electrical department and IT department is good but in other these is so less . As in my department mechatronics we have 20 girls in the strength of 86 around students

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements . LandT , TCS, Infosys,avidra, reliance , torrent,deltaX are the main company which visited in my college. Highest package of last year records is 110000 offer by the government BHEL company for core Branch. I am planning to go for masters after the completion of my degree.

i like awahan the anual fest of my college
i like dance so i am in dance group in my college
i love my friends who are supported me in tough situation

Dislikes

washrooms are very unhigenic and smelly and not even clean
instruments of lab doesnt work so we can not perform practicals
faculty not teaches us well and in good manner

Affordable fees , tution and hostel both , minimum fees in all colleges in mp
Green campus , the campus is green lush and have a lake , the environment is peaceful
Great alumini network , jec is first college in central India established in 1947 , have great alumini network

Some labs are non functional , like the old machines in jec are not replaced yet
Not good infrastructure as college is old some building are very bad
No good grounds facility in college , hostel have good grounds but not very good

The curriculum is rgpv based as college is autonomous but syallabus is by rgpv , so circullum is same just the differentiating factor is the exam which are relatively easy and the depth of subject is touched by experienced faculty of college

College campus is very nice and this is very attractive me
College placement is very good around 70 to 80 percentage students are placed in this college
This college fees is 22300 rupees which is affordable for any lower class students

Labs instruments are very old and which can't working properly
College Buildings are very ancient which is not attractive.
Electric board is not for first year students

Life Outside the Home

Likes

The Campus is huge and gives a vibe of a decent place for studies. All Campuses are well organized with great inside infrastructure..
Interaction with faculty is impressive with one to one interaction, and cultural events oraganised by the college students under mentorship of senior faculty.
The High octeted celebration and the events are the highlighting thing of the College.

Dislikes

The Library environment need improvement in terms of collection of books and the facilities.
The College Culture of innovation and learning is lost as the Professors are not at all interested in this

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be exact, the curriculum has to be improvised and structured properly for real-world needs. The structure is outdated, and the pattern is too. The industry-based learning is not being promoted at all, as per my observation. The timing for exams is not frequent, but the paper structure is the same as the old so very outdated for a growing economy like ours.

Best college I found.

Likes

Freedom is the best part of college and you will get all future opportunities and and can focus on your carrier
Hostel is the main place that I like the most and it legacy and connection Build in it.
Faculties and college is very supportive to you and celebrates your success steps and gives all requirements opportunities

Dislikes

Canteen and code culture and time limitations.
Facilities of water and work are very slow.
Clubs don't get funded by colleg. All are students driven.

Placement Experience:

From 6sth semester you are eligible to campus placement and intership. All companies selected students and have placement. Highest package is of 69 LPA and lowest is of 4.5 LPA. 90 percent students get placed. I will go towards business fields.
