JEC Jabalpur is good in the following aspects-Great Alumni Network.Infrastructure is old, but great.Sports Facilities are great, you need to have good contact with the Sports Department to access all the sports equipment.Hostels are not in great condition, but still worth living in. The Mess Food is good.

Its a pretty decent government engineering college with a very affordable fee and pretty decent environment for academic excellence

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fee is pretty affordable and hike is very less or we can say negligible. One can complete his bachelor degree including education fee, hostel, food etc in as less as 3 lacs. There are many scholarship available like medhaavi for scholar student and post metric for sc/st and obc student. Also there is fee waiver in hostel for sc/st students

Information regarding Jabalpur Engineering College and some of my experience

Well I don't remember that much about fees structure and scholarship but you will complete your btech in just 1lac if you are in general category and if you will get eligible for MMVY then all your fees is been paid by govt you just need to pay to stay there. Well there only few companies visit in campus placements and they offer packages of 3-4lac in mainly the software domain. I remember only L&T visit for mechanical, civil, and electronics profiles.

The complete cost of your education, including tuition, service fees, and other compulsory charges are very cheap , only 26k/year. Also you can get 100% scholarship if you are eligible. No support for internships.

Real facts about JEC

College fees is very nominal for a middle class student or student suffering from financial issues

Dislikes

maximum 2-3 chapters will be covered in a semester out of 5 , (some times even 1)
75% attendance system , (EC department HOD was very strict)

For general students fees were around 25,000 per year, and the Medhavi scholarship is also provided if students have marks above 85%. SC/ST and OBC, also have their respective scholarships. But if you have a scholarship then at the end of 4 years there is a problem in obtaining the provisional degree, The college won't give a provisional degree until they don't receive money from the government for a scholarship. No help from campus for placements as companies brought by them were not giving the required roles and pay was very low, and college doesn't allow you to do onsite internships and is strictly against it so students will miss a lot of opportunities.

Everything you need to know before getting in Jec , jabalpur

For general caste annual fees is 22800 inr.. For obcs its somewhere around 15k and For Sc and Sts it's just 3200. so if u come under Sc and St it's a great deal to pick Jabalpur engineering college. Since it is a Government college , u will be provided with a large amount of schemes which helps ur study by providing scholarships.

You will get know the harsh reality of our college

Fee is very nominal. Middle class or below middle class family can afford. 25000 is fee for the student belonging from general category. And if he comes from SC or ST category he will get scholarship and additional benefits will be provided it means he doesn't need to pay the fees moreover he will get some money from scholarship

There are 22300 fees per year for obc, st and sc categories. And obc get 28300 scholarship, sc and st get 33800 . General categories have to pay 11000 per year fess with no any scholarship. It is very affordable college for financially students.
