29 Aug, 2025 MP B.Tech Counselling 2025 schedule is out for Institutional Preference Seats. Candidates can register @dte.mponline.gov.in from Sept 1 to 15, 2025. The counselling will be held on Sept 9, 2025, and if seats remain vacant, additional counselling will be conducted on Sept 15, 2025. Check schedule.

JEC Jabalpur offers BTech degree courses at the undergraduate level and MTech, MSc, and MCA at the postgraduate level, along with PhD at the doctoral level. Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses at JEC Jabalpur are purely based on national-level entrance exams and the institute-conducted entrance test.

BTech Admissions are based on the JEE Main exams. For MSc and MCA admission, candidates are selected purely based on the percentage obtained in previous qualifying degrees, ie, B.Sc. degree, and BCA degree, respectively. MTech / ME admission is based on the scores secured in the GATE exam.

I chose Jabalpur Engineering College over many other private colleges as it is government aided and quite affordable . Also , we can get Medhavi scholarship and hence education is free in these 4 years. I also applied for SGSITS and IET-DAVV but got a rejected due to insufficient score in JEE - MAINS. You can get admission directly by filling the MPDTE counselling and report to college to confirm your admission.

Things U need to know Before taking addmission in JEC

Admission:

I applied for DAVV indore but unfortunately I was not able to clear the cutoff then i opted this college for my btech as it's a gov college with string alumini network and less fees ..I was getting addmission in some private tier 2 colleges at 94.3 percentile but the fees were high ..only jee mains is accepted here and you should have minimum of 45% in boards

I choose these college on its name and it's reputation in state. The fee structure was also very reliable. The return of investment was also very good.and the campus was around 250 acres. The faculty and employees was also supportive.
