Course Curriculum Overview
The course is quite relevant I feel. It's almost similar to every other college in India. The timing of college is from 10 am to 4 pm. There are a total of 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exam in each semester. Although i feel there should give an internship opportunity to students from 5th semester which is missing.
Placement Experience
The placement is not very good but if you are a decent student you will land a campus placement. Although it's not much (around 4 lpa) but it's not that bad considering it's college fee. Most of the students of this college are preparing for government exams, GATE etc as the attendance policy is not strict so you get plenty of time to prepare for it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is very minimal. It's around 22390rs per year for unreserved category students. The examination fee is around 1300rs. The sc/st and obcs can avail scholarships from the government of Madhya Pradesh like medhavi which covers the entire course fee.
Campus Life
The campus life is not very exciting but it's decent. They don't organize much events like other colleges which i feel should happen. There are different clubs that operate in the college, the sports culture is neither very good nor too bad. The library is ok, you can access the books through your library card.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is one of the best part of this college. There are a total of 8 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. In 1st, 2nd and 3rd year you get a sharing room for two students but in the final year you'll get a separate room which is good.
Admission
First of all the college fees is minimal. Moreover even the hostel fee is less so it's easy to sustain here in terms of budget. This college was established in 1947 which makes it one of the oldest colleges in India. The admission to this college is through MpDte counselling which accept JEE main scores.
Faculty
The faculty of this colleges are well qualified. In my department particularly the faculty are quite decent. There is no such strict law for attendance. Even 50% attendence is enough. The teachers are flexible in terms of assignment dates in my department.
Night Life
The nightlife of college is okayish. I live in the hostel so it's fun here sometimes. There are lesser restrictions in hostel than other colleges so it's good. We often play games together in hostel and conduct some sports event too in the hostel.
