As the result I got in my exams this was the best college for me to persive Computer science and engineering course.It is best than the lower NIT colleges .The process for admission in this college you have to give JEE mains exam and have to secure 97 and above percentile.
Likes
- The campus is very beautiful. It’s quite large.
- All basic things are available inside the campus like cafés , grocery shops , barber , laundry etc
Dislikes
- The campus is situated far away from the main city area
- The location of the campus is in midst of forest so dangerous wildlife like snakes are always a hazard also various insects, even pigs can be spotted across the campus
Admission:
IIITDMJ is one of the few government IIITs . Many are public private partnerships, i wanted to avoid that . This IIIT has a large campus, better placements records and more diversity in terms of branches . The admissions are processed through jossa , csab, dasa , study India councellings . For jossa and csab jee score is considered. A safe score to get into this college for the lowest branch is 97%ile for general male and 96.5%ile for general female

- I like the atmosphere of college which is far away from city and the bus facility provided by college,and the several sports club in the institute
- Library facilities are quite good for the students to improve skills and lecturers are friendly with students in encouraging ,and discussion about the courses and TAs are most helpful in the Lab,
Dislikes
- Registered students in various sports club has the right to play in respective sports club and non club students are not having any facilities are not
- Attendance is strict in the college and the course will be dropped if attendance is below 75 percentage
Admission:
One of the reason I chose this course was it focus on today trend of industrial standard.And the course curriculum also included the practical lab sessions, and project based learning and also give the opportunities to internship. And you can also select you intrested domain as electives starting from 2nd year. The curriculum does a good job in preparing me for real world applications ,particularly the lab sessions and projects helped me in gaining more knowledge to solve practical problems. There are areas where the curriculum should be more aligned with real world requirements. For example the fundamentals are covered well.there is some centent feels outdated. The teaching methods also should be update like using more practical way of teaching in classes. Exams are conducted twice a semester including midsem and endsem exams and quizzes also conducted twice a semester.The difficulty level will increase starting from 2nd year as there will me more core related subjects and more courses in a semester so exams will be more and you will get less time to prepare.

the average package of this campus is so much greater than many nits and it is the third best iiit in india and central government funded and the square area of this campus is so huge and there are many clubs

- The greenery around the campus, maintenance of the plants. Cleaning the roads frequently
- Guards near the open areas so that if any wild animals or snakes comes or anything happens they will be there everywhere for help as our college is near the hilly area.
Dislikes
- Less cultural events hardly once a month
- More rules and regulations needed to followed by everyone

Thanks for asking me this question. I feel very great and proud at the same time to answer this question. Comparing to my rank and the other colleges im getting this stands out at the top in infrastructure, academics , fee structure which is affordable and my is a government recognised college so I felt it will be the best out of many.

- The campus life here is very much good , offering various clubs,cultural festivals.Here the students are very friendly and the student community in this collage is very good.
- Coming to faculty ,Faculty at my collage is very highly qualified and approachable.Many professors have large experience in their fields,Some faculty teaching methods are very good that helps in understanding the topic easily.
Dislikes
- The academic load can be overwhelming some times with frequent assignments,quizzes and exams.while this builds the discipline but it leave little time to extracurricular activities.
- The surroundings of the campus is full of forest so you have to be careful while roaming in this campus as there are frequent sightings of snakes near hostel and some times like inside the hostel also. Yeah this is the major concern of all students.

I came in through jossa councelling first I didn't chose this collage but IIIT Guwahati because for my rank of jee mains I will get that easily and also that campus is presented in IIT Guwahati so I veryuch likely applying for that but then I heard about my present collage which is having very high placements as compared to IIIT Guwahati and the placement packages of 40 lpa for 40 students and so I decide to join this campus. So In the josaa councelling I changed the order and put Iiitdm Jabalpur,Ece as first choice and then next IIIT Guwahati,Ece.But for first 5 round of councelling I didn'tget this collage but then I 6th final round I got seat in IIITDM Jabalpur. The admission process to get seat in this collage is through josaa councelling through jee mains marks. The eligibility for this collage is based on jee mains rank. For CSE :7,000-13,707 For ECE:14,000-20,861 For ME: 33990-42704 For SM: 39419-46924 The above is the range of ranks eligible for getting seat in this collage in 2022 for general category. So you can refer to cutoff for more information regarding eligible jee mains rank. The admission process is very much neat and the required documents that are to be submitted on the day of admission is mentioned in collage website you can refer to them.

- Their is a little bit of hierarchy culture in college. First year have to wish every senior and follow some rules.
- The college strictly follow the 75 percent attendance criteria.
Admission:
I am from Himachal so I applied in Nit Hamirpur in computer science and engineering but I couldn't get in so I choose cse in this college because it is a IIIT so it's is more inclined toward coding and has better coding culture. The placement are also decent for CSE students here but not good for any other branch.To take admission here you have to appear and clear the JEE Main examination. For General category student you have to get under 13k mean 99 percentile to get this college.The crowd here is also decent.

I have applied to many other colleges by giving preference in the joint seat allocation authority and also applied for CSAB round after which I got this college according to my rank which was expected by checking previous year's cutoff

- college environment is simply superb and very peaceful

- Wifi issues as it is forest area we dont get signals
- no safety, any time any animal may come from any side

actually i was interested in Iiits but due to low score i chose this college through mains. Though I can get other branches in nits , i want cse so i will get it from iits and this iiitdmj is the top 3 iiits in india, so I chose this college . It has very good placements compared to nits.So iam happy.
