- Hostels are nearby the departments so that make easier travel .
- All the labs are mostly in the department so easy to go and learn
- New building of my department which is mechatronics is way too good in infrastructure
Dislikes
- We face some time drinking water issues which can be resolvable
- In girls hostel there are limited seats so many of girls live in the PGs
- Girls to boy ratio in the computer science department, electrical department and IT department is good but in other these is so less . As in my department mechatronics we have 20 girls in the strength of 86 around students
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechatronics engineering. In which we have 8 semester. Last semester 8th semester is for the 6 months internship and also we have choice for the major project also . Remaining 7 semester includes the subject of mechanical, electronic and computer which are the essential for the study of robotics and mechatronics elements. So we can say that curriculum is way good .
Internships Opportunities
There is no as such intership opportunity in our college. Some them are only certificate based. But in this year we have some intership opportunity in DRDO and ISRo one of my friend got intership in ISRo for 3 month there she got approx 5k monthly
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements . LandT , TCS, Infosys,avidra, reliance , torrent,deltaX are the main company which visited in my college. Highest package of last year records is 110000 offer by the government BHEL company for core Branch. I am planning to go for masters after the completion of my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am from general category with no reservations. So I have to pay full payment which is around 12000 per semester. And other than we have to pay 1300 for the each semester exam . Other than I am also a hosteler so there is official one time yearly fees is 2800 other than mess chargers are take us via monthly based which is 2100 aprrox which can be reduced if we are not in hostel for some day than they reduced the prices via per day . So for the prise vise our college fees is comparatively much lesser than others . Nice for financial not stable students. Overall environment is too good and also happy to live there . Some of my friends got various type of scholarship in which some of them are category vise and some of them are comparitive exam marks vise as we know for getting the admission in jec jabalpur we have to clear the exam of jee mains so there is also madhavi scholarship, in which they got full fees payment of there academic. Also for the ST SC candidate they have scholarship of around 30000 yearly. Accordingly. But for the eligibility of the scholarship they have to pass the all semester exams . No backs allowed as per my knowledge. If any student got semester back or the year back than they will got rejected from the scholarship thing. Also in jabalpur engineering college we have alsoa Master degree programs- electrical, electronic and mechanical for engineering students they got the monthly stipend for the students who are gate eligible students. Student who cleared the gate criteria. Or we can say that the students who cleared the cutoff for the monthly stipend of 12500? per month.
Campus Life
Aavahan is the sports fest which happens every year in our college. Approx 2-3 days sports fest . Also technical fest like intertia,SIH happens in our college. Dance , music, literally clubs also much active clubs in our college
Hostel Facilities
Personal fan ,table ,chair,bad , switches provided to each and every student. Hostel are so good in term of financial. Meals are Okies in our hostel. If we rent or go for pg we have to pay approx 2500 per month. For registration of hostel we have to in the hostel department head offlice in campus offline and submite our marks sheets according to our marks we got the hostel seats .
Admission
So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch . Mostly students preferred CSE , IT and AI branch . I also applied in SGSITS indore but because of my low score I didn't make it to go there
Faculty
Faculty members are good. We can say Okies type some of the facilities is to good but some of them little biased. In my department the Pankaj sahu , Abhilash patel are one of my favourite teacher because they teach us way smoothly . Also pankaj sir is PHD teacher so the way of teaching is much impressive.
Night Life
There is no night life for girls because the girls hostel closed around 7pm after that we can't go anywhere. For boys they can go anywhere they want but the college also locked around 6pm after that nobody can enter the college campus. Hostel are outside of the college campus so there is no connection for that
