The last date to apply for JEE Main 2025 session 1 is November 22, 2024.

The Training and Placement Cell of the institution looks after the placement opportunities for the students. Since the institute started functioning in 2017, the first batch of the institute is to pass out in the year 2021. It is an institute of national importance and has become one of the promising leaders in the discipline of Information Technology and Automation.
The placements are expected to be excellent in the upcoming days. However, for obtaining a B.Tech degree, one internship for every student is intended to be obligatory. - Central Library: The institution owns a well-equipped modern library to cater to the information needs of the students as well as the faculty members. The library has acquired more than 3500 printed volumes of books from reputed publishers. It is also equipped with modern facilities and resources.
- Computer Centre: The Computer Centre is in charge of the maintenance of day to day computational requirements of the institute. It is also responsible for the management of the computer labs accessible to all the students and the PCs of the faculty and staff members. The facilities of the centre are also used by many departments to conduct their practical classes and examinations.
- Wi-Fi Campus: The Computer Centre maintains a huge campus network with more than 300+ nodes. IIITBH LAN is also managed by the centre for providing support to the users. The Campus LAN has been extended to all the hostels.
- Bank & ATM: The institute has a UCO Bank situated inside the campus area to facilitate the banking needs of the students, faculty, and staff members. There is even access to the ATM facility inside the Academic Building. In addition to this, a Post Office is also situated inside the campus for fulfilling the postal system needs.
- Virtual Classroom: The institute possesses a dedicated virtual classroom for 1:5 video conferencing and is well-resourced with a Projector, 43” LED TV, PTZ Camera, Wireless Mic, Amplifier, Presenter, and Sound system. It can accommodate up to 100 students.
- Conference Room: There is a well-furnished conference room with Wi-Fi connectivity and with a capacity of 15. The room is equipped with one PTZ Camera with 43” LED TV with video conferencing facility through Panasonic Codec. It also has a projector with a good sound system.
- Hostels: The institute provides separate hostels for both boys and girls, constructed near to the main study campus with all the basic facilities and modern amenities for the convenience of the students.

- Some of the faculties were very friendly.
- Internet speed was good over 600mbps because of lan cable in every room..
Dislikes
- Some of the faculties are really very rude and arrogant.
- Some Classrooms were not air conditioned.
Admission:
One of the parameters I choose this college because the college is central government funded. Other parameter is that when I joined the college the average package was around 11lpa and the placement was 100%

- Here we get a mentorship program for all first year students by seniors.
- Faculties are really good and they are suppotive to all students.
Dislikes
- The sports environment is below average since their is a lack of sports equipment.
- Since now their is only one proper hostel available in campus, many students mainly seniors faces problem.
Admission:
As per my JEE rank the best branch and college combination I get is ece in IIIT Bhagalpur. Because compared to other colleges at my marks the average package is very decent and here seniors are very supportive from the first day.
Likes
- The faculties are very supportive. They always try their best to make us understand the concepts and also guide us for the available opportunities.
- The seniors are very polite and helpful. They are always there to help us when needed. The also give tips for acing the college exams as well as placements. They provide previous year questions, notes and ebooks for college exams.
Dislikes
- The food quality provided by mess is not good.
- Mess is compulsory for those who opt for hostels.
Admission:
I have got seat in this college on the basis my JEE MAIN rank through JOSAA counselling. I chose this college due to it's placement statistics and also it is located in my home state only. I got my preferred branch i.e. Computer Science in this college.
Likes
- Seniors are cooperative. Infrastructure is so good. the new campus is complete now
- Placements are fine depending on you, like few even got 89 lpa, for placement they are working really hard everyday.
Dislikes
- Faculties are very rude sometimes. The behavior of faculties towards students is not so good
- Quality of food sometimes is so bad that it's almost unedible
Admission:
Admission is through JEE mains. After you have been allotted this college in counselling, during physical reporting everything is told. The admission process is smooth, don't have to worry about it once u have been allotted.

- Coding culture is very good, clubs are active very much
- New infrastructure and very big library and computer centre

- Transport facility is not up to the mark.
- Hostel quality is good but it is very expensive.
Admission:
To gain admission here you need to qualify Jee Mains entrance exam. The average cutoff for the CSE department is around 40000, for general For ECE around 70000 and for MAE around 90000 for general only.

- The hostels are decrnt and quite clean . There is a lift too in our hostel

- The college is under construction so the main campus is still small

The college takes admission on the basis of JEE main ranks. Once you get a seat in IIIT Bhagalpur in the counseling round, you need to accept it. In order to take admission. The exams occur twice a semester and the difficulty level is moderate.

- The locality is not very good as we have a shared campus .
Admission:
We had to give the joint entrance examination(JEE) based on which wew were given admission.The admission process is same as for other colleges. After jee there is jossa counselling . Cutoff of CSE for gen is 37000
Likes
- First of all this is a IIIT, so it will give you a leverage from all the other colleges in terms of placements and culture. If we talk about academics the classes and attendence are really flexible for the first year as I have experienced till now.
- The classes are short and the new academic building is in use now so there will be vented ac no problem from the heat, as for the hostel the space might be an issue apart from that hostel is a great place it will have give you a lot of memories.
Dislikes
- Construction is yet to be completed, there should be two hostels till now but only one is constructed which can create spacing problems in future and other infrastructure like library will also take time before completion.
- The sporting facilities are very midiocre, the ground is not labelled and Items for every sports are not always available. The completion of a good playable ground will take a lot of time.
Admission:
The college acceptes the percentile of JEE mains competetive exam and for the branch ECE in my year 2023 the cut-off were around 43000 but after conducting csab counselling the cutoff went to around 60000. Well, the cut-off trend can change every year.
Likes
- Permanent campus construction is completed. Hostel is very near to academic building. The professors are generally supportive. There is No ragging in this college.
Dislikes
- The campus is a bit small.Also, Bhagalpur is not a metro city so very high quality facilities should not be expected.
Admission:
The students have to qualify JEE Main exam to be eligible for the course. The admission process is pretty smooth and the documents required are listed on the college website. The application is done from JoSAA counselling and admission is started a few days after the counseling is over.
Likes
- The coding culture is great here with dedicated mentorship for coding. You will find people doing stuff in different fields and the students are very much updated with the current market requirements.
- The senior - junior interaction is great which really enhances the college environment.
Dislikes
- The college campus is quite small (50 acres) when compared to NITs or other IIITs.
- There is dearth of sports facilities. We don't have a dedicated indoor sports facility yet.
Admission:
The admission for B.tech in the college is through jee mains and it follows the reservation criteria as set by the central government. There are no state quota or reservation based on domicile. The current cut-off is around 70k rank for Mechatronics for general category.
