Course Curriculum Overview
As a student of electronics and communication engineering, I would like to say that the thing that I hate the most about our curriculum is they are teaching us Python language for programming, there is no scope for Python language nowadays especially in India, because it is a very language, I want them to teach us C language. The rest of the curriculum is quite good, as in my first year of college they taught us physics, maths, humanities, and our course-specific subject. Competition in the classroom here is quite good because many of the students are good at studies, we have a mid sem, an end sem, and quiz examination in a semester, the timings of exams are good, and they give enough time for preparation.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies come in our college for internships, roles offered under these internships are software developer, software Engineer, front end developer, full stack developer, and many more, the stipend offered by the companies varies according to the roles offered, but it ranges around 50000 per month or even higher, you need a decent CPI and really good skills to get a good internship.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements, every year around 80-90 companies visit our campus for placements, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and many more companies visit our campus, this year highest package was 1.2 crore, average package of around 20 lakhs, every year 75-80% students gets placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Let's talk about tution fees first, it increase year by year for a batch, when I got admission it was 71500 so it will remain at 71500 for the rest of the college. For news batches it changes, the complete cost of my education will be around 8.5 lakhs. They offer many scholarships based on your income and your academic performance, which grants you a fee waiver for an entire year.
Campus Life
Our cultural festival name is Tarang, and it happens in November, we also have a sports festival that happens around February, there are many clubs in our college for cultural, tech, and sports, and we have a student activity center in which badminton court, the gym is available, our library is decent in size it has 20000+ books. All the classrooms have projectors, board, benches, and air conditioners.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostels are really good and neat and clean, in the first and second year you get a shared room with 2 more students, each of you gets an almirah, a bed, a table and a chair, a tube light, and a fan, rented room or pg is not allowed in this college, quality of the meal in the mess is average, veg and non-veg both available, separate mess for veg and non-veg people are available.
Admission
You get admission here by qualifying in the Jee main examination, you need to score at least 98.2 percentile ( if you are from the general category ), SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and caste students get a reservation here SC and ST caste students get fee waiver for their entire 4 years of college.
Faculty
First of all I would like to say that college faculties will not teach you every small thing and it's quite understandable because you are not in school anymore so the teachers will do only what they want, they will teach you the syllabus, but every teacher is different so their teaching style, so some teacher will seem you more effective than the other, you can interact with the teachers in the classroom, all the teachers here are well qualified, faculty to students ratio is good, your learning experience will be good but not the best.
