Course Curriculum Overview

5

The circulum is well structured and industry-relevant, with a strong mix of theory, labs and projects. Exams occur each semester with midsems, quizzes, and endsems. Some courses could use more practical examples and updated content for real-world apllications.

Internships Opportunities

5

Our institue offers strong internship opportunities in CSE and other branches. Companies like D.E Shaw, Accenture, Meesho, Flipkart provide role in Software development, data analyst, full stack developer. Not only for full time roles, many companies give internships in 3rd year and offer FTE. And also our college is associated with few japanese institutions. So we get few placement offers from japanese companies.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise tution fees is 79,250 for each semester from my first year. So a total of Rs.158500 . And compuslory one time fees of Rs.15000, which includes registration, gymkhana and all other kind of fees. Apart from that the hostel charges Rs.22000 per year and the mess fees is around 25k-30k per year. From second year , i only have to pay tution , mess and hostel fees. Everyone should stay in hostel and availing mess is their option from 2nd year. For first year it's compulsory. Students from SC and ST categories do not have to pay any tution or college fees at all, which really reduces there financial burden. They only contribute towards the hostel and mess facilities, since they are compulsory for everyone who avails them. And my batchmates who are from Madhya Pradesh who are eligible for state government scholarship will get the amount of tution fees. They also need to pay only the mess and hostel facilities. Apart from that merit-cum-need scholarships are available in the college that support students who perform well academically and struggling financially. Overall the yearly fees is affordable and the person who can't pay are able to pay their fees with the help of scholarships

Campus Life

5

Campus life at IIITDM Jabalpur is vibrating and engaging. We have annual and technical fests like Tarang and Hackbyte, and many other events and competitions conducted by respective clubs. We have 2 student activities centers where gym, indoor courts for badminton, chess and carroms. Also grounds for cricket, volleyball, football and basket ball. The library offers wide range of books and journals, classrooms and well-equipped with tech facilities and sports and clubs provide excellent avenues for extracircular involvement.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facilities are comfortable and well-maintained. Each room comes with basic furniture, study tables, bed, fan, light, locker and storage facilities. Also provide clean water, Wi-Fi for each room. Each hostel have a seperate canteen other than mess. We can comfortably go and order and eat at any time till 2 in the morning. Overall hostel experience is convenient and affordable.

Admission

i got admission to IIITDM Jabalpur through JEE Mains via JOSAA, based on my percentile in jee mains. I preferred this college over others because of its great placement statistics, excellent faculty and campus environment, which aligned perfectly with my academic and career interests. Also it has various clubs which encourage us not only in studies but also in other activities, also there are clubs related to studies and industry based projects.

Faculty

5

The course structure is well organized with two semesters each year. Each semester includes two quizzes, a midsem and a end semester exam, and related branchwise specific labs, ensuring a balance mix of theory and practical exposure. Exams are moderately challenging, and failure rate is relatively low as long as students are regular and do their coursework. Professors are approachable and guide you.

Night Life

5

The night life is calm and safe. Hostels are closed around 10:30 pm. But we have canteens inside our hostel which are available for midnight 2 am. And we have cafeterias like nescafe and hexagon where we can have pizza, burger and coffee. We have balanced night life encourages both relaxation and productivity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aim of me to choose these course that I have the interest to get the technical knowlege that how any technical works internally and what the mechanism it follws to work and what algorithm it follws to work and for these specific choise of me to chose these course makes me to choose these course. As the curriculum is not much focused on technical skills rather it is more inclined on theoritical concepts but it gives me the idea about how to get know about any other or the technical skills that we have'nt yet studied in an sequential manner through the theoritical knowledge but I urge to update the syllbus to more incline the curriculum to technical knowledge which gives students an idea of proper real-world applications. The course curriculum is too old now that are being followed by our college given by the university which does'nt matches with the latest technologies and should be improved and updated according to the latest technology and should be more inclined to the technical parts. The time duration of each sem. is for 6 months where the are 4 months of teaching and 1 month of exams and 1 month of break and there are two categories of semester odd and even where odd semester are little bit longes ther the even semester in the time duration.

Students in their final year can participate in a successful placement drive held by NMIMS Indore. Companies like Crisil, EY, Reliance, ICICI, and next education participate in the placement campaign and pay skilled students up to 8 to 13 LPA. This college provides students with 100% placement help, and students who choose to continue their education may opt out of the placement procedure and seek advice from the institution. I'm in my last year and would be more than willing to take part in the placement drive.
