A good and genuine and also personal experience about IIITDMJ

Yeah, i guess we have good curriculum and also most of our college curriculum follow the curriculum of IIT kanpur as it is our mentor and also coming to the real world applications, i didnt feel any as i just spent one year in the college and also like they make me learn more as much as i can. coming to the exams the difficulty level is so different from course to course and i would in the first the probability and statistics is the hardest after that the electrodynamics. there will be to quiz and one mid-sem and one end-sem in a semester. most of the faculty use ppt for teaching as it is the common everywhere now a days.

As i am the first year student in the college, i dont know much about the interships. but what i heard from the seniors and other fellow mates, the interships are very low from the college side. maximum of the students choose to find off campus internships.

i would say this year the placements are decent when compared to other lower nits as we have the 3 package above 1 crore and also the avereage package is 1927000 according to the college website. For CSE deparment the placements are good and for ECE department they are decent and for ME and SM branches they are poor considerably. from the information i know and what i listened and collected from seniors of the college.

firstly the semester fee would be 210500 including tution fee and hostel fee and also the mess fee. now they will be charge an extra amount at the starting of your semester one like admission fee and other some and they may be upto 15000 and it is one time payable and we also have many scholarships from college, state government and also the central government. for the college we have merit cum means scholarship and it will given on the basis of jee main rank for first year and based on cgpa for other years and for ST and SC we have other scholarships.

My social life the campus is very good as i got good mates and i also have good memories with them in the college. coming to the club environment every club memebers are like a family and they are really attached well each among.we have many clubs that are cultural and technical. coming to teahinal clubs like the programming club, the robotics club , aero frabrication club, racing club and many more. coming to cultutral clubs we have dance club The avartan and saaz the singing club and also we have clubs fro dramas and literature and like that.

I would hostel facility is not that good and we could say it as decent. because there are many water stains on the walls of hostel and the rooms are not that good and comparitively bad in the first year hostel than second year and third year hostels. the ethernet speed is too low for working on the internet in the hostels and when we see in the summer times we can't live in room without coolers peacefully as the termperature may rise more than 45 degree celcius.

The admission process is so easy and there will be many people in the college to assist you at the time of physical reporting and also for b.tech the entrance will be based on josaa counselling and you jee main rank and for b.des it will based on succeed score.

The faculty is so good at their qualifications. because many of the faculty are post graduates from IIT's and alsofrom well known universities and some of them pursue their post graduation from international universities from countries like france, japan and more like that and coming to their effectives in teaching it is really so good for me personally as they explain the subject in a beginner friendly manner and also i feel one faculty didnt teach me effectively that is the probability faculty. and many of my friends feel the same even now. but he is really strict at evaluating answers while coming to the exams.
