Likes

The coding culture of IIITDMJ is exceptional.
Sports clubs are vey good at their job especially cricket club
The campus placements are excellent as usual

Dislikes

There is no night life in campus after 11pm.
The curriculum is on slightly tough side
There is no non veg mess available in campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science and engineering is the most demanding curriculum in engineering field.The curriculum cover fundamental topics such as algorithms, data structures, computer organization, programming languages, and software engineering principles. These concepts form the backbone of a CSE education and are essential for understanding advanced topics.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. top companies are atlasian, Amazon , Paytm, American express , meesho , Flipkart ,etc. the highest package on campus was 82 lpa by atlasian and off campus was 1.5 crore by mediatech. the average package is 18 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of IIITDMJ is 8 lakhs.there is no hike as it is government college. There are certain scholarship program provided by our college like mcm scholarship which is based on merit of students. for first year it is based on jee mains rank and afterwards it is base on CPI of students.it is of worth 1 lakhs 20 thousand

Campus Life

The campus life is quite good. There are certain cultural fest like saanj. there are every kind of journal and books available in the library. there are various clubs like tpc for coding.sports clubs and cultureral club are also there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels rooms are quite good.it is a 3 sharing room for first and second year students. single room are available for third and final year students. the quality of mess food is average. there are two central mess available.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

The admission are based on jee mains score. You can apply through joint seat allocation autority (josaa).the closing rank for computer science and engineering (cse) was 14k.jee mains is held twice in a year.

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

College placement are good as compared to other colleges because in recession time only tit college provides placement for our students so college placement are better but if you are hardworking man or women so your package is better so if you take good package so start hardwork or discipline in college academic. This college average package is also better than other colleges like lnct, oriental because this college average package is something 4 to 5lpa and highest package is something 50 lpa. My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff...Read More
