Likes

All professor are good at their respective domain and take regular classes
College is active in training and placement and provide internship and placement at time
Many cultural fest tech fest all types of games and other activities are running in college

Dislikes

Hostel building are too old and you have to manage it accordingly
They take much miscellaneous fees from this year for building development
If your rank is too good then go to nit because this is not comparable to top 20 NITs

Hostel is not so good in infrastructure and maintenance Normal room a fan and a cable two tubes not much things As compared to nit or IIIT But hostel is of secondary things first is education and training and placement offers

Admission

This college is best on my rank because what I want do not give other colleges I want a well established college for electrical engineering because I am interested in this branch. I have not any other colleges like this

Faculty

All faculty is good in their domain All are well qualified and PhD holder in respective domain from IIT Delhi kanpur madras etc They interact with students to what problem do you face in any subject Student are free to ask any questions or any topic to professor in the class as well as in their personal cabin

Night Life

The college hosts events and fests in evenings, e.g., cultural clubs and freshers’ parties. For example: “Engineering students live it up at SGSITS college fresher’s party in Indore” Night is good in sgsits

Simply outstanding

Placement Experience:

If we're talking about placements so students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Many of companies came to my college to hier students and companies like yash technologies, wipro , infosys etc. Students get highest package of 12lpa and average package of 3lpa. 90% of students got placed and remaining 10% are those who didn't sit in placement and some of them who want to do higher studies. My plan is to get a good job at a good position in a reputed company

Like to learn new thing..

Placement Experience:

The college placement is quite average upto 14 15 lakh.there are so many companies like Infosys. Etc visited for placement every year. Students became eligible for internship in 5th semester and wil get placement in 4th year.i planned to became successful software engineer.

Placement os this college is quite decent as compare to other iiits .i thinkl from 6th smester students become eligible for placements . name of companies include atlassian , zomato, synosin, etc came. As per the iiitbhopal website 2025 placements ; the highest package is 85lpa and the avg is 15lpa . and 85 percent people is got placed . my plans after getting degree is looking for high paying job as i have invested too much money on this degree.

After the vivid there we see a lack of placement opportunities in branches . But , Because of college reputation you will easily get hired in various companies offcampus for high branches . There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) . After getting the degree mostly students go for masters and also in IIT's or NIT'S for higher studies .

Sgsits Cs is my first priority but not enough to get there so aim for IT the reason why i end up here is because i got manipulated and every one is saying as it rank 3rd in mp. I love to join mnit but its not enough to get in there. Apply for ugeee but fail to crack and i don't want to apply for bits because it is super expensive i want to join government college but its my wrong choice to join this college. SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
