Course Curriculum Overview

2

I feel like I am being forced to study subjects in the 1st year that are'nt even part of my branch. And I don't even understand what they were thinking when they made th syllabus. And some teachers seem like they just print their own notes on the board.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships at sgsits start by the 3rd year. firms like goldman sach and TCS offer roles in SDE and analytics with stipends up to 30K rs. projects involve real world coding, improving software deployment skills.

Placement Experience

2

SGSITS placement beigin in the 7th semester. With an 80% placement rate, top package reacdh 44LPA from firms like amazon, while the average stays around 7 LPA. My plan is to higher study EE from top IITs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees at SGSITS are categorized into tution fees and various instituional development charges. Semister fees (1st year ) is 106279 rs (for electrical branch) for the regular program. For the complete 4-year B.tech program , the total expenditure is estimated between 4.25 rs to 5.12rs, depending on whether the branch is regular or self finance. Fees are subject to an annual increase of approximately 5-10% as per the latest govt. and institutional guidelines for 2025 - 26. Tution fees: 50000 rs per semester. in 1st year for electrical engineering branch. development fund : include 10000 for building development 10000. The actual amount paid by student varies significantely based on their admission catogory and eligibility for govt. schemes. general/obc are reqiuired to pay the full fee per year. And sc/st/obc(NCL) students are eliogibile for PMS scholarship. TFW(tution fee wavior) students admitted under this scheme have their Tution fee waived entirely tution fees. These are the following scholar. opportunit. to support students financially: 1- MMVY 2- FFE 3- PMS 4- Merit Cum Need Aid.

Campus Life

3

Campus life at sgsits indore is vibrant, defined by a mix of high energy festivels and compact infrastrure. Students look forward to AAYAM, the major annual techno-culture fest held in february, and AAROHAN, the technical festivals featuring workshop and hackathon. The library provides a wide range of academic journals and book, though the 35-acre campus size. For sports, the annual meet VARCHASVA bring students together.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels at SGSITS offer basic rooms with a hostel fee of 31500 rs. Mess food costs 16500 per term. admission is merit- based via the portal; nearby PGs are safe and affordable. Mess food is good, featuring a rotating weekly menu.

Admission

I joined this college out of compulsion because my 12th grade percentage was low, although I did well in JEE mains and JEE advanced , but due to bad luck, I had to take admission in this college. Well , now I dont want to say much more.

Faculty

3

The institute boasts a about a rebust faculty of over 200 member, many of whom are PhD holders from prestigious intitutions like IITs.The faculty - to - students relationship is generally approachable. Academics are manages through semester exam system that is considered relevant to industry standard. There is no faculty member that I particulary like. But I also cant say who I don't like the. And about exams level is midium. except some subjects(which tough ). and those 20 % students are fails in which exam are to be toughed.

Night Life

4

Campus life end by 9PM as hostels and libraries closes early. Students unwind at the cafeteria or near by 56 Dukan, which remains a safe, famous late - night hangout spot in indore. but about me I slept early.

If we're talking about placements so students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Many of companies came to my college to hier students and companies like yash technologies, wipro , infosys etc. Students get highest package of 12lpa and average package of 3lpa. 90% of students got placed and remaining 10% are those who didn't sit in placement and some of them who want to do higher studies. My plan is to get a good job at a good position in a reputed company

Placement Experience:

In my college, students become eligible for campus placements from the pre-final year itself (generally from the 5th or 6th semester), which gives them ample time to prepare and participate in the recruitment process. The placement cell of the college is highly active and dedicated, consistently bringing in a wide range of reputed companies from different sectors such as IT, core industries, finance, and consulting. Every year, numerous well-known companies visit the campus and collectively make a significant number of offers, ensuring that students get diverse career opportunities. The college has an impressive placement record, with competitive salary packages offered across various profiles. The highest package offered has been remarkably attractive, reflecting the quality of students and training provided, while the average package is also quite satisfactory and ensures a stable start to students’ careers. The roles offered range from technical positions like software developer and engineer to non-technical roles such as management trainee and analyst, giving students flexibility based on their interests and skills. A good percentage of students secure placements every year, which clearly highlights the strong industry connections and the effectiveness of the training and placement cell. The college also provides continuous support in terms of aptitude training, mock interviews, personality development sessions, and skill enhancement programs, which significantly boost students’ confidence and employability. As far as my future plans are concerned, after completing my degree, I aim to secure a good position through campus placement in a reputed organization where I can apply my knowledge, gain practical experience, and grow professionally. In the long term, I aspire to enhance my skills further and achieve a responsible position in my field, contributing meaningfully to the organization and society. Overall, the placement opportunities and career support provide

Placements are based on the training as some students opt out. The companies these days have an assessment test and it's because of that they choose the candidates. That is followed by an interview and our department prepares us for that and those who does well or showcase themselves well get in excess of 10 lakhs easily.

There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) .
