The campus is huge,beautiful and lush green
The infrastructure of the college is quite good
Every basic amenities of the students are present

Dislikes

Mess facilities is not that good here in the college
As college is situated in outskirts,there is a problem of network
The teaching style of the faculties is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

The course here i have chosen is Bachelor of technology in Mechanical Engineering. The reason to chose it was the renownedness of the college and also here our course is taught by merging it with new technologies for example use of AI in industries and manufacturing processes

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 855000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The on campus internship opportunities in the college in not that good. Although certain companies visit to recruit for internship but not everyone get on campus. Mostly students apply for internship off campus

Placement Experience

In our institute students become eligible for the placements from seventh semester when the first placement drive is conducted. We have very good placements here in our college. A good number of MNCs visit our campus to recruit students for example Google, Microsoft, Meesho, Atlassian, Goldman sachs etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in this college is less when comparing to other iiits. We have to pay fees here semester wise. Hostel fees is 11k and mess fees is 15k per semester. Few scholarships are also provided which are merit cum means scholarship,mmvy for mp students,nsp etc.

Campus Life

The campus life in this college is pretty decent. We have a huge and also good lush green campus. We have a good equipped library and very good classrooms which are air conditioned with good infrastructure of the building.

Hostel Facilities

The institute is fully residential so hostel is compulsory for every student. The hostels here are quite good maintained and also rooms are quite spacious. A table,a chair,a shelf and a bed is provided to each and every student in the room

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

The admissions are provided on the basis of rank in Joint Entrance Exam mains which happens twice every year. The cutoff for mechanical discipline fluctuates around 60-70k rank in jee mains exam. There was no such aspect which caused problem in admission process

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

College placement are good as compared to other colleges because in recession time only tit college provides placement for our students so college placement are better but if you are hardworking man or women so your package is better so if you take good package so start hardwork or discipline in college academic. This college average package is also better than other colleges like lnct, oriental because this college average package is something 4 to 5lpa and highest package is something 50 lpa. And also very good companies visit our college like TCS, Capgemini,Hcl ,Sap etc and also advantage of college because this college tie up with Capgemini or kpit companies

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff...Read More
