SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I have always been interested in learning artificial intelligence and that cones under computer science so i opted for cse in SRMIST Modinagar campus. I really liked the way professor teach here. They have a good focus.

the main reason i chose the college was because of the timing and distance. It is located in the center oft he city and is well connected via public transport also. the college had the branch i was looking for, which is mechanical engineering. I had interest in Physics, so took mechanical engineering.

I gave quite a few private institute entrance exams and got good ranks in them, SRM being one of them. Since SRM was situated in the Southern part of India and we had heard good reviews and also because it is the top private university in India and offers good placements, hence chose this college.

The college management is usually helpful but the hostel management is very rude and harsh towards the students be it a girl or a boy. They do not pay heeds to the complaints regarding to the food, safety of students, cleanliness etc. Here again the north indian and south indian students are discriminated based on they way they dress and everything.

Campus placement is very good. Every year soo many companies come and take students with their requirements. The average package is good.

The thing I liked most in our campis is infrastructure. They will be maintaing campus with good cleanliness. Without good maintanace of campus we may not get intrested in studying. And placements is also one of the reason.

I chose SRM because of its popularity amongst my parent's friends circle.Many of my dad's friends' kids have passed out from SRM and I got to know that SRM has 100 percent placements.So based on all the feedbacks I got admitted to this college

My reason to choose this college was its positive feedback that i got from my cousin sister.She passed out from SRM at 2018 and she was too from biotechnology department.I got few more positive feedback from her friends as well and especially i got to know in details about the department i was about to choose.

I chose this college because firstly my parents wanted me to stay back in home with them and complete my undergraduate and though I cracked NEET but wasn't with sufficient rank to get a top government college in the city.And then my parents came to know about SRM being one of the top private institute of the state and moreover i liked the ambience and secondly SRM has good infrastructure for the biotechnology department.So seeing all these i joined SRM

I would say that overall SRM has done a pretty decent job in the management of various fields involving the academics or extra curricular activities or the placement processes. If you are from a place outside of Tamil Nadu and you are looking to socialize and meet with new people and furthermore land a good job, SRM IST Chennai is a go to.
