SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

7th-semester students become eligible to enter for campus placement we've got companies like Renault, cognizant, google, amazon, Mahindra, and TCS. Almost everybody sitting for placement gets placed highest package would be 45 lacs and average would 5-6 lacs.

Our college is good in placement and I think we have more than 50 companies for placement and the average salary starts from 10000 to 24000.

From 8th-semester students get eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, CISCO, DBS, SAP Labs, HSBC Google, Goldman Sachs, Directi, Microsoft and so on. Microsoft recruited a student with a package of Rs. 38.5 lakhs per annum. Average package is of 4-6Lakhs. Above 90% of students get placed. To get a decent job.

After the 7th sem or final year. About 200 companies for mechanical. The highest package was 8 lakhs for mechanical. About 40 percent of people get placed. My plans were to do a master's program. The average package is 3 lakhs per annum.

I always wanted to work in a big tech giant. I love programming and i live problem solving. I have huge interests for big data and cloud computing. I would like to pursue that in future. Im good at problem solving and skills.

I chose it because SRM is one of the best private colleges in India for Biotechnology. I got good first-hand reviews from Biotech students of the college so I decided to join. The USP is the Biotech Labs which are very well equipped.

I have been interested in machine learning since i was in 12th. It passionates me. I have this urge to understand more and research more above machine learning and artificial intelligence. I got specialized couse of ai and ml in srm.

SRM has a diverse cultural, from all around the world. It's infrastructure will catch your attention and make you bind to itself. It provides many launchpad, clubs, fest, etc. Best in diverse and practical studies.

The hostel provided by the college is very strict.They didn't even let us have a refund the 3rd day we stayed there.It creates a lot of divide.Rich kids having fancy hostels and normal kids with low level of living.

No outdoor activities available. Students are not able to enjoy the college life at fullest.
