I chose it because SRM is one of the best private colleges in India for Biotechnology. I got good first-hand reviews from Biotech students of the college so I decided to join. The USP is the Biotech Labs which are very well equipped.

The best branches of the college CSE and Biotechnology. The curriculum gets updated around every three years. The faculty is very helpful especially the lab people and the facilities which are available are really great. Webinars and seminars keep happening from time to time in order to give us more insight.

I have done a few internships with internshala, I applied for the college dunia internship too but had to pass because of my health issues. So, I could not send a sample article but if the offers still stands valid I would love to join.

the CSE placements are good but for my branch that is Biotech the placements are not that great because we require higher studies to get a good package. mass recruiters visit the college for CSE branch and higher good students to intern with them first and then go full time. The hiring rate is good for the CSE branch. There is an entrepreneur cell in the college which funds good startups also. Some notable alumni of our college have made the SRM sat satellite, are working in the entertainment industry in TSP and TVF, and as entrepreneurs and scientist. People are acting as professors in the college itself too.

The campus life is really great and the campus becomes lively after 5 p.m. after the classes get over. There are many clubs and teams which have their meetings in various spots in the campus so it is a great scene to witness. The campus also has a food hotspot which is always filled with people because of the good food there. There are two annual major festivals which are held in the college called Aaruush and Milan. Aaruush is a techno management fest and happens in September whereas Milan is a cultural fest and happens in March. Both the guests welcome esteem guests from all over the industries be it the tech industry, education industry or the entertainment industry. Apart from that minor fest also keep happening. Events such as SRMMUN, SRM Energy Conference, Jhalak which is an inter house fest, Shuru which is for the freshers, and various sports events also keep happening.

I got 50% scholarship on tuition fees because of my entrance examination rank. It continues every year if I get a GPA of 9+.

The infrastructure is amazing. The auditorium of the college is one of the largest in South Asia. The campus is so vast and consists of many blocks like hotel management block architecture block, biotechnology block etc. One thing could be made better though, sunshades could be installed for the pedestrians. Each floor of each building has a Wi-Fi and the library is around 4 floored. There are many playground inside the campus.

There are different types of hostels available. AC 2 sharing, non AC 2 sharing and non AC 3 sharing. For girls all of these have attached bathrooms but for boys in AC 3 sharing there is a common washroom per floor. The hostels are great, it depends on the person staying in them. For girls hostels have an in time of 7:30 p.m. and for boys the in time is flexible. The boys hostel are generally located in clusters, but the girls hostels- 4 to 5 of them are together and one is apart.
