Remarks

I chose this college because firstly my parents wanted me to stay back in home with them and complete my undergraduate and though I cracked NEET but wasn't with sufficient rank to get a top government college in the city.And then my parents came to know about SRM being one of the top private institute of the state and moreover i liked the ambience and secondly SRM has good infrastructure for the biotechnology department.So seeing all these i joined SRM

Course Curriculum Overview

Our faculties are very friendly and helpful.They hold good knowledge and control over the subject they teach and tries to draw as much possible good output from us. But in terms of marks, few faculties really like holding up a control on it,they like to assure that we have a quiet good knowledge about what we study to score good marks.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities till date that college has shown us and what we as general public know is 100 percent.But its not like all the students of a particular batch will go out of the college with a job.Its 100 percent based upon the number of students who are allowed to sit for placements.Students who don't have any single arrear till the time companies start coming to campus only those students are allowed to sit for the placements.And its not compulsory that everyone is getting their job in their respective core companies.Many mass recruiters come to campus every year.

College Events

In an academic year our college holds two different fests.One is the technical fest named "AARUUSH" and the other is the cultural fest named "MILAN".Both the fest in organized for a duration of 4-5 days.And we get a huge number of participations in both the fests.Those few days we have a complete gala celbration going around in the campus.A number of musical nights,comedy nights and many more.

Campus Life

We have good infrastructure.Especially for the biotechnology department we have really good lab infrastructure.Apart from that we have a huge library covering five different floors of our university building.And all round the campus we have wifi facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

This college I have a great placement because already have a senior who passed out with the Hike package. They are trained us to achieve our dream packages in higher MNC company. Suppose if you didn't place on any companies college will provide you a great working opportunity in academic campus that is great average package in this college placement is a three lpa that's more enough for an bachelor student but the higher package of this college in arts and science is 15 to 20 for engineering is 58 this is the highest package in Coimbatore

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
