Beyond the brochure: My life at SRM

In Srm Institute of science and technology, for Master degree the annual fee starts from 60,000. For MA Journalism & Mass Communication, the annual fee amount is 60,000. Apart from the annual fee you have to pay the exam fee for every year which will come around 5000. Before the semester exam the students are asked to pay the sem fee. Basically application fees for Srm university is 1000, and the registration amount is 500. If you got seat, you have to pay your annual fee in the beginning of admission. The amount will be divided into half, the first half fee includes your registration fee, and then in the end of your admission process you have to pay the remaining half of you annual fees. I paid 35,500 in the first half and later I paid 30000, and after my entire payment my seat was confirmed. In SRM, they provide so many scholarship for the students, you can check it in the official website, and for the sports quota, students didn't have to pay their academic or hostel fee.

One of the most known University in Chennai - pros and cons

When I joined the University it was 50k per year but I think it has gone up to 60k per year. Every semester we pay exam fees around 3000 or less than that and apart from that we aren't asked for any other money from the college except for Industrial visits, assignments or farewell to seniors. We were not provided with the knowledge of scholarships but I was once told that there is scholarship for military background students. As a 1st year student I haven't done any internships yet.
