Likes

There are plenty of food stalls and various options for everyday meal
Good infrastructure in campus for friends to hangout after classes
Nice parking facility and library facility for students

Dislikes

Unhygienic canteen area and food in some shops
Car parking is not sufficient during events
Some events are not conducted with proper crowd management

Course Curriculum Overview

There are good quality staffs with good experience in the field to give good knowledge in the subject. The curriculum is well fit for the real world challenges and applications. Need improvement in practicals.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid ?60,000/- as my first year fees through bank transfer. The registration fee is around ?1500/-. There are some scholarships available for different eligibility criterias. The exam fee is excluded

Campus Life

Milan is the most anticipated event of the university. It is conducted for a period of 4 to 5 days in a year. Social life at SRM is so good that you will feel like you are at your home. There are so many opportunities available to showcase our talents to the world.

Admission

I got admission here with best fees structure and no donations. I didn't get rejection from other colleges but i chose to join SRM. The admission process is very simple. I did my application and admission process through online portal. There will be an offline verification one week before the classes begin. ID card will be provided after verification of certificates

Faculty

10:1 student teacher ratio. Staffs maintain good relationship with each and every students without any partiality. There are 2 cycle tests, one model exam and then the final semester exam. Exams are easy

Night Life

Night is little boring in the campus as students are not allowed inside the campus after 7pm. We have 24/7 hospital service at SRM Global Hospital which is located in the university. The jawa canteen will be open till 7pm

Beyond the brochure: My life at SRM

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically, I had interest in Journalism. I did my UG in English in that, I had Journalism paper which influenced me to choose this course. The syllabus curriculum is so relevant and activity based, it's like what we do if we go to jobs, this course makes the students more engaged than every other course. Industrial visit needs to be improvised For Cycle test they will give one and half hours within this timing we need to write for 50 marks which is quite difficult. Modal exam is equal to the semester which is easy to write in three hours.

One of the most known University in Chennai - pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum includes both internship and dissertation in the final semester which lets the student have some kind of experience before leaving college. Subjects like data journalism are quite relevant and documentary making, editing techniques are there which gave a proper understanding of how things work in the field. Practical papers are quite difficult but exams are not as we already write three exams (CT1, CT2, Model exam) before going to the semester exams. So it's always like we know everything before the semesters.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

I choose this college because it had a great placement record than any other tier 3 college in the NCR region. The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
