475000 is the fees per year for students in B.Tech CSE CORE. This is inclusive of all other fees like lab fees etc. This is the fees paid by people who got in SRM via SRMJEE exam without any scholarship. Accordingly to your performance you can get a 50% or 25% scholarship on this fees. Apart from this you also have to pay the exam fees and some other minor fees throughout your course completion

Year wise fees is constant for 2 to 3 years still I join SRM University. The fee is 1.15 lakh. Smae fees for all the students. Also students from Army background would get scholarship in fees. There is around 5% to 10% scholarship or more.

SRMIST is a premiere Engineering college in Chennai and commands a premium fees too. The yearly fees for CSE here is 4.5 lakhs a year. The hostel fees in which I stay is 3 sharing Non/AC and fees for the same is 1.18 lakhs a year.

- They change the course curriculum without thinking of most of the students and they wont discuss it.

So the year wise fees is 400000 for 2023 batch in got increase for 2024 batch.So the registration fees is 10000 and 4 lakhs for collage and hostel fees is different .So if any one got rank below 200 in srmjee will get discount upto 100% free fees .They have so much options for scolarships if any one is from army background and got good rank in srmjee.

- The tuition fees are quite expensive compared to other private collages and on top of that additional charges like hostel,message and lab fees add up.
- While the curriculum is industry -oriented at times it feels too theory heavy or outdated in certain electives.

My experience at SRM IST,Chennai
I am enrolled in SRM University and my annual fees is 300000.Considering the infrastructure,faculty ,labs and placement support,SRM has offered God value for what I am paying.
The campus is modern,labs and workshop are well-equipped.
Professors are approachable and the curriculum is relevant with good tie-ups/industry exposure.
Even though the fees are relatively high,I was able to get scholarship(via SRM JEEE /merit) which significantly reduced the financial burder.withiut that it would have been difficult.
Other fees(registration, development,lab,etc.) and hostel/message add up. So 300000/year is not the only expanse.
The scholarship/waiver you get may require you to maintain a high CGPA in following years. If performance falls,waiver might be reduced or lost.
Fee increments are happening; newer batches pay more.So if you join later, expect somewhat higher fees
Over Verdict:
For what I pay ,SRM IST gives a good academic, faculties and career prospects.the financial, and career prospects. The financial aid I got made a big difference. If you can secure a scholarship and are serious about studies, this college is worth it.
And placement is also good here ,evey big MNCs is come here for hiring .

I used to pay 300000 for one year and i am pursuing a B. Tech degree so for four years the total fee cost would be 12L just for the college and if you choose the hostels as well it would cost you roughly around 20L

- The timetable is a little hectic. The schedule is tighter and a little tough to manage at first.

I am a student of CSE specialization in data science. I am paying 2 lakh per year for ky course and yes it has increased for new batches. While the other courses also have a little more fees than mine. There are scholarship provided on the basis of their entrance exam SRMJEEE.

Fees and Financial Aid:
Yearly fees is 475000 with no additional costs except the hostel fees and the money required for buying lab coats, calculator etc. The entrance test exam registration fees was 1400?. There are people with a 100% scholarship in tuition as well as hostel fees. The college doesn't plan on increasing their fees anytime soon. I belong to the general category

in srm ktr i will be paying about 4lakh 75k tution fees per month and the hostel fees is 1.80 lakh per year the fees is high definately but its worth it because if the enviroment that srm is proviidng to the students . the classmates are also cheerful and the teachers are also kind to give u attendance if you are 5-10 mins late to the class.

No, SRM University does not offer any fee concession to the SC and ST categories students. However, there are need based scholarships as tuition fee waiver available for the students whose family income is below 2 lacs. The merit based scholarships are also available upto 100%.
You can get admission to the Bachelors of Science (B.Sc) in Computer Science program on the basis of scores of the last qualifying examination. The registration process for the course has already started for the 2022 – 2025 academic session.
