- Girls to boys ratio is very less especially in branches like civil and mechanical.However, it is improving right now due to 10% reservation for girls in IITs. ~ Akaash R, B.Tech

Course Curriculum Overview:
The professors are very knowledgeable and inform the concept well. The student-faculty ratio is about 60 and there is a faculty review meeting every month and they take it very seriously. Exams are tough.

Many MNCs like google Microsoft Goldman JPMorgan etc visit every year.
the highest package in 2021 is around 2cr and the average package is 25 lakh out of all companies that visited.
percentage of placement for cse branch is 100%.
I've decided to work for an MNC after getting a degree.

One can not doubt the placement quality of the college the college is the top engineering college of India so the college placement is also as per the standards. The college maintains a record of 100% placement. The highest placement offer of the college is 70 LPA and the average salary placement is 20 LPA. I choose this college because this is one of the best colleges and universities in the overall world which provide very fine knowledge with best teachers as I want to do B.tech in CSE yes it is very hard to Crack JEE- Main but like me, if you also work hard you will also crack it easily. IIT-M is arguably the best Technical Education Institute of India and has been positioned 1st for both overall and BTech NIRF rankings of 2020. It holds AICTE approval also and BTech programs are the most opted programmes here. JOSAA counselling is the aspect as per which seats are allocated in IIT Madras.

Getting into IIT was my dream. After completing 12th I decided to make my choice for IIT Madras as my relatives lived over there. The eligiblity criteria to apply was that the student should have scored a minimum of 60% in 12th class. Then the other step was of clearing the Jee Advance exams, before which I had to clear my Jee Mains. Then the last step was of registering for JoSAA counselling. I registered for the course offline by visiting the college campus only. I filled my admission form there and paid an apllpication fee of Rs 3,000.

The good aspects of my College is field of variation , different different part of students.we explore a lot of new things ,new culture,new languages. Prof. are so helpful as well as so responsible and respectful. There is a lot of research thing are available as well as IIT Madras research park.

It is a full-time degree or diploma and so it will have more value than online. But if we compare IIT Madras’ online degree or diploma with any other college’s then it is better.
The duration of the course is 3 years. The mode of training is online, the lectures are mostly recorded and partly live sessions.
Whether the course will be good or not that depends on what subject you are planning to pursue. If you opt for a subject related to technology, then it is not a good option. This is because technology cannot be learned through books or audiovisual. It requires you to be present in the field to gain experience and knowledge.
