Remarks

To pass JEE advanced exam. First, jee mains exam needs to be passed then apply for jee advanced via details mentioned on jee advanced website. Reservation for OBC gives a boost to get a better branch. No further improvement is required.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose cse because I like programming. Faculty: student ratio is 1:6. All faculty are Ph.D. holders from famous universities all over the world. Exams are of moderate difficulty and are easy with good preparation.

Class Size: 87Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Google Microsoft Rubrik Optiver etch offer internship opportunities with a good stipend. I myself haven't yet sat for an internship so I am not sure about the projects and outcomes during interns.

Placement Experience

students are eligible in their 7th semester for campus placement. Many MNCs like google Microsoft Goldman JPMorgan etc visit every year. the highest package in 2021 is around 2cr and the average package is 25 lakh out of all companies that visited. percentage of placement for cse branch is 100%. I've decided to work for an MNC after getting a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure is around 1.08 lakh for tuition fees and the opportunity of scholarships for economically weaker sections is very much available and also pretty easy to obtain with good grades. The campus has a great placement record with a median salary of around 25 LPA.

Campus Life

cultural fest called sharang and tech fest is called shastra are held around mid January to mid-february. The library is very resourceful with many books and journals and also with multiple copies of the same.

3 yr students are eligible to get placed.particularly japanese placements come around that time.and general placements comes in 3rd yr 6th semester! Jsw, Renault Nissan are some of the companies that come! Highest in Japan 32 lpa , general - 12 lpa. 99.99% get placed.

My experience in VIT

Placement Experience:

My college allows you to get internships from the 5th semester. Campus placements can be availed 7th semester onwards. The highest package offered was I think about 1cr per year and the average being about 8-9LPA for my course. My plans after my degree is to work.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Proud to be IITIAN

I choose this college rather than another college because this college has high placement oppurtunities and it is nearby my town and the environment here is also so good.The another college I got was IIT Hyderabad,I prefer this college beacuse it has more placements than IIT Hyderabad.And that to the management and the environment here is so better while compared to another. I got one rejection in IIT Bombay beacuse of my insufficient grade factor.So thats why I didnt make up there The admission process of our college is first we have to clear in JEE Mains exam and then JEE Advance.
