Fees and Financial Aid:
I have not availed any scholarship or education loan. All the finances were beared by my own. However, I am working in a research project under my supervisor along with my PhD where I was getting some financial help for doing the project work. Thapar Institute also provide some Teaching Associate-ships to PhD students where they work for Institute and respective departments for conducting practials, tutorials and as invigilators during exams.Institute provides some scholarships to undergraduate students.

Gate Scholarship and loan facility from State Bank of Patiala offers the loan facility to the thapar university students for every course. We are further committed to the welfare and professional development of our employees by providing necessary opportunities and facilities for their self-development in a conducive and congenial environment, promoting team work and proactive participation.Four scholarships 50, 000 per annum one scholarship to one alumnus ward ineach year of BE/B.Tech on merit-cum-means basis.

You can’t get a scholarship in B.tech Biotechnology with this percentage. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology provides various scholarships to be eligible for a general scholarship your scores should be > 95% at the 10+2 level.
