It is good and very good they are very good and very good in student teachers ratio.
There are placement opportunities for different courses at different times but mostly companies visits the university every year for the 3rd year graduation students.
There are like 18 hostels in the campus for a huge number of students residing in them pursuing their respective degrees and courses.
Dislikes
The application fee is a little high and it charges extra money for more than one option.
The hostel charge is very minimal but the food quality and infrastructure is very poor.
Nta did not successfully handle the examination process as lots of students faced problems with distant exam centres,
These insights are automatically extracted from student reviews
I chose this course as it was different from the courses I knew of and I wanted to try something new. It is more hectic than I imagined as there are exams every other week. However I think having exams and presentations more often will help me handle the pressures later in the future.
Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the top University of India . This campus is so beautiful and nature loving. There are greenary all around the campus . This University give you so much of opportunities. And you are free to speak in this campus.
This University has so much diversity. Student from every part of India come here for higher studies. This University is very favourable to all the citizens because of its low fee . This campus gives you freedom . Nobody judge here whatever you do .
My interaction in this University is very large. Student of this University is very intellectual and hard working .they respect everyone one and teaches you to raise voices against wrong doing . It teaches you the value and norms of human being.
Dislikes
The infrastructure of this University is very old . Hostel are very poor especially boys hostel . Ceiling of the hostel falls sometimes. So infrastructure is very old .needs to repair .
Placement cell are not disciplined to their work. Very less companies visits the campus. And not all the department provide the campus placement. Needs to improve this
Sports facilities are poorest. There are so sports event or yearly sports festivals. Need to look upon this . Sports fund are very less .they don't provide sports facilities in the campus.having only one stadium where all the games are played .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The courses they offer are very valuable and has good future. I chose the courses here because of its reputation of faculty. Teaching method are very fair to the students. They teaches from basics which is the best things for any students . Professors supports evey students and always treats as equal to every students. Exam pattern are some difficult here . And timing and gap between exams are stressful sometimes. So this needs to be improved. every courses here has one of the best faculty. And most of the faculties here are JNU alumini so it's more better in terms of understanding the students here. Masters in this University are great to have because it provides best facilities in India.
Fee structure of college is affordable for poorest also
Special Deprevation point for Girls students.
Rich Dialogues and discussion culture of jnu
Dislikes
Infrastructure is just too old and crumbling
Decreasing quality of the teaching & research material
Unnecessarily interference of Administration in students activities.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum of language is just old. It should be updated every 3 year. Language is always evolving. As i am language students , Teaching should be activity based.syllabus & textbook should be updated.
I liked the environment here its really frienly and people here are quite helpful and i like the fact that campus is quite big and its full of nature and and also like the thing that they provides us hostel because its so expensive outside the campus
And campus is really safe i mean you can roam around at any time and no will say anything to you and no one will disturb you and i really like the this thing if you are hungry at anytime there will be always a shop which is open inside the campus
And i also like the fact that library is open every single time you can go anytime and study peacefully and near library and i also like that hostels has mess which provide us foods and we have verities of foods every single day
Dislikes
There's not many things i disliked but there is certain things that i disliked about my university the first thing is that the academics building is really far away from the hostels and sometimes its really difficult to go by walk

I cant seem to think any other things disliking about my university but yeah i remember that i never get a seat in central library of my university which i really dislike like theres always people and they dont even leave there seats

Placement Experience:
I think after the completion of bachelor's degree students become eligible for campus placement and iam sure about the no of offers made but there are so many korean companies that visited our campus is like kotra , kto etc. And they starting package they offer is 6 lakh per year and percentage of the students has to 60 to 80 percentage but since we are learning a language so they more focused in the speaking abilities and talking about my plans iam planning to do some internship and do my masters degree for now iam sure about future.
The safe and family like environment of the campus . The residing students are very friendly
Anything that we need is always available at hand. Health centre is open 24/7 . Students can always rely on it for any inconvenience and don't have to search for atleast the basic medical help .
The shops are nearby and in campus. Evenings are well spent at the dhabas or juice shops or at KC .
Course Curriculum Overview:
Korean language is my major in JNU . I chose this language because I was really curious about their culture and how did they developed so fast and their economic growth is something to be appreciated. I got to know more about the language during corona pandemic. As k-pop was soaring high at that time , I came across the language.
liberal and intellectual environment of campus I like the most, I feel so free here that I've access to deliver speech on any issue, everyone's thaught and ideas got valued here.
The night life of this uni is true gem, campus natural beauty, I love how I'm surrounded by the greenery of nature which is kind of rare to see anywhere. I feel safe and secure as a women in this campus because of the tight security here.
Dislikes
Also the some of uni building is so old that we encounters issue like water leaking from ceiling in rainy season in our hostel room, some of rooms ceiling suddenly fell off and that's totally intolerable.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm a language student and the thing that influenced me to learn this korean language is obviously he culture, music and the way they speak their language captured my attention which made me opt for this course which is provided by JNU. The demand of language student is rapidly growing in our country as a korean wave getting popular in India which make me go for the higher study in this course. One thing I would like to teaching method of language course in JNU is to students should get provided a proper language lab where you can improve your language skill.
There are no restrictions and you can just freely do whatever you want to without any judgement and disturbance
As a female student i feel safe inside my campus and can go out whenever i want
Educational quality is one of the best with friendly professors
Dislikes
Excessive Political interference and fights .
Regionalism and grouping at some point .
Extreme pressure of career and academic performance
Course Curriculum Overview:
As a language student there's plenty of career opportunities but I personally feel that knowing language only won't be enough for long term career opportunities, I take language learning as a skill development but we need to have a base or can be said as core subject of interest for a better opportunity and it'll also increase the options for us .
Also i like the faculty of my department. They are very supportive and kind in nature.
Dislikes
I really disliked the things that there is no event that happen in my university.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My first year of education was online due to covid. And after a year i got to do offline studies. And i must say offline is much better. Because learning a new language in offline has much more benefits like you can know the exact intonations and all.
The environment of campus is very good Especially the master's crowd
Dhaba culture, late night walk makes this campus more attractive
The faculty of chinese department is very cooperative
Dislikes
Hostels are cheap but the food is not that good. One has to survive because of that
The infrastructure is getting old. Improving but it can be improved much better
Politics makes this campus alive but nowadays parties are playing dirty politics
Course Curriculum Overview:
Learning language is in demand nowadays. And chinese has huge career opportunities. It also helps in the overall personality development of an individual. The faculty here in JNU is too strict which is good and bad in its own way. I hope the teachers could become more interactive with students.
Academics- JNU indeed has the best professors and curriculum. Every Wednesday we have seminar which is organised by our Chinese Department, where we get to meet and discuss about various issues and world affairs from the best faculties .
Academics - It is compulsory for bachelors student to have 8 optional courses. They offer wide variety of optional courses that will help you master a lot of other subjects and not just chinese. It also develope you answer writing skills
Apart from that , the campus is very beautiful and peaceful. So much better than rest of the delhi, pollution is very low. Central library is the best place to study, and is open 24*7. You can find so many people studying here its very motivating
Dislikes
Dislike - hostels, hostels are very cheap but not well built, food is not good in most of the hostels but for the price it is still better than a lot of private universities which costs a lots
Dislike - academics are very hectic, every month there is an exam and between those exams there are exams of optional courses. So you barely get personal time and spend most of the time in attending classes. So it gets quite hectic.
Politics - although it doesn't affect me much but there is so much poltics here that you feel compelled to choose a side. You'll come here only to realise that left and right both of these sides are bad
Placement Experience:
From third year itself companies starts visiting the campus. Chinese companies like Oppo and Vivo often recruit from chinese centre. They often require translators and interpreters, so it always some MNC with business regarding China or in China. Most of them pay really well. Most of the students gets accepted. People in JNU are more in academia than corporate so people rather go for masters and PhD. My plan is to appear for CAT and do MBA.
I want to take addmision into thi collage (from BCA) please tell me the procedure

JNU Delhi does not offer BCA program. However, the general admission requirement for BCA courses is to pass Class XII examination with Mathematics as a subject. Admission is either merit-based or entrance-based.
