There's also a late night culture, which means you can be up till 3 in the morning and still run into lots of people at the dhabas. There are movie screenings, political activities such as protests and hunger strikes, you can hear some of the greatest minds in the country give public lectures. If you're receptive to it, JNU will change your life, expand your horizons, and challenge your comfortable ways of thinking. You're treated like an adult so you have to learn to be one quickly.

A very few good companies visit JNU and you need to be good at your subjects to get a job. The JNU administration is putting out funds for placement improvement. But currently, placements are very less here. Not even 50% of the total students got placed. This is because some didn't have the required knowledge and partially because not many companies visited.
