JNU Cutoff 2024: JNU has released the Third Cutoff for admission to MA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Tech, MPH, PG Diploma, and Advanced Diploma in Mass Media programs. Candidates who secured the minimum cutoff rank/marks must block their seats by June 28, 2024. JNU has released cutoff marks (percentile) that are calculated based on overall scores obtained in the CUET examination. JNU cutoff marks in the first list stood at 97.6667 for MA Sociology followed by MA Arabic for which the cutoff marks are 96. Course and category wise JNU PG cutoff marks are given below:

JNU PG cutoff 2024 is out for admission to MA, M.Sc, M.Tech, MPH, MCA, PG Dilploma, and ADOP programs. JNU witnessed the highest cutoff marks of 97.6667 for MA Sociology followed by MA Arabic for which the cutoff marks are 96. However, JNU M.Tech Data Science program has the lowest cutoff marks of 30. JNU UG Cutoff 2024 (Expected)

JNU cutoff for admission to UG courses is released in multiple rounds on the JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE) portal. As per last year's trend, B.Sc in Ayurveda Biology recorded the lowest cutoff of 54.55 percentile and the highest cutoff stood at 93.69 percentile for admission to BA (Hons) in Spanish. As per the JNU’s cutoff calculator method, candidates need to score at least 400 or higher scores in the CUET UG examination to get admission in the first round. Ques. What is the CUET score at JNU?

Ans. Admissions to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at JNU are based on CUET UG/PG. The CUET score at JNU varies for all its courses and its course specializations. It also varies according to the category of the candidates. The CUET score at JNU for all its undergraduate programs is between 54.55 to 93.69, while for all its PG courses it ranges between 30 to 94.33.

Ques. What percentile is required for JNU?

Ans. The percentile required for admission to all JNU programs depends on the course selected by the candidate. To be eligible for JNU admissions, the minimum percentile required is between 45-55%. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination with the minimum percentile will be selected for further admission processes at JNU. Moreover, while calculating the merit of the candidates, marks obtained in the qualifying examination will also be taken into consideration.

Ans. Yes, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG/PG) is compulsory for admissions at JNU, except for BTech.
