Jamia Millia Islamia University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After sixth semester students are eligible for placement drive . Each student can tak maximum of two jo letter. Approx 50 companies hier the students like Samsung, amazon, Google, etc. in this year 45 companies visited in the campus and total 500 offers are given . Highest package of this year is 44lakhs and lowest package is 16 lakhs.

After entering the 4th-year placement drive starts here. In fact, 100 percent placement is there for branches such as ECE and computer science. For branches such as electrical mechanical and civil, there are fewer placements which are common in many colleges but if you want than you can also sit for tech placement. Mainly ee students are allowed by many tech companies.

The placement of the college is very good because it's a central university. Packages they offer differ from department to department and on students as well. And all of these things actually handled by the placement cell of Jamia Millia Islamia University.

Campus placement is more than average but in the computer science, department campus placement is more than 90 percent, in other departments placement goes up to 60-70 percent. The average package until now is 52lpa from amazon and the average package goes up to 8lpa. After getting a degree, I will go for a job and I knew that I will get a job very easily with a good package because our college works in every possible way and make them industry point of view good engineer.

5th-semester students become eligible for campus placement but the majority get the placement in the 7th semester. This year Accenture, Samsung, HBIL, etc. companies visited and offered 30-40 jobs in the first round of placement. The highest package for Computer Engineering was 25 lac by Microsoft last year. This year the placement process is going on and the highest package is to be recorded. 50-60% of students get placed and the remaining students pursue higher education or start their businesses. I would like to take the placement after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placement last year. Many companies hire students like TCS, HLS Asia, Wipro, Google, Byju, Tata, etc. The highest package offered is 14 LPA with an average package of 6 LPA and least package is 3 LPA. 55 out of 75 got placed with an average package of 6lpa. I will opt for Mtech and then research.

Students from semester 6 are eligible for campus placements, and this year(2022) the placement was 100% with 6LPA are average, and the highest CTC was 25 LPA from Amazon, apart from this IBM, Schneider Electric, Samsung, Optum,Byjus, and 2 PSUs came to the campus.

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement. Companies visited are(For Electrical only):-TATA, Reliance, Siemens, L&T, ABB, Heromotors, Zia Semiconductor etc Highest package:-8L. Lowest:-4L. In the core field, 15-20 percentage placed others placed in software (Overall 90 percent placed) My plan is to do Masters from IISc.

The course is of 4 years duration which is being divided into 8 semesters I chose this course because I love machines and always been fond of being an engineer as I am an Engineer Brat as well The faculty is Students ratio is 1:50. The teachers are really good and they seem to be highly professional and experienced as well Exams are conducted once each semester.

Placement for computer science is quite good but for electrical ,machenical , and civil it's quite not much. Avarage package is around 4 lacks and highest was 14 lacks for my senior batch. In computer science there is about 100% placement.
