Journey to Jamia Btech - electrical

All 12 pass students of PCM are eligible with good jee rank (60k ) and the student is at least 17 years old. You can find the application link on the website jmi ac.in or jmicoe.in, the application fee is approx 500. The application starts on 14 April to 12 May. If you are in the minority category then you definitely got reservation benefits and also Muslims have a 10% reservation. At the time of admission, visit Jamia with all the documents needed for admission otherwise it can lead to admission cancellation.

I love electrical engineering that's why I choose that course. There are approx 15+ professors, assistant professors, lab coordinators, and lab technicians for 75 students per semester. All faculty are Ph.D. holders in which some professors come under 2% of world scientists. There are two sessionals and 1 end sem exam per semester. Exams are not too hard nor too easy, If you are an average student then you could easily prepare for exams within 10 days of it.

Many companies such as Google, Byju, TCS, Samsung, Intel, Infosys, HLS Asia, etc. They offer both technical and coding posts. Also, you will become a manager after promotion. You can apply for an internship for 5k to 10k per month for 2 months, but finding an internship is difficult for the core branch as the college does not allow extra time for an internship. While you can easily get an internship related to coding and you can do this internship online. You must have to go for summer industrial training and make a report on it in the last year of BTech. You are given max 2 projects in the last year of BTech.

Students become eligible for campus placement last year. Many companies hire students like TCS, HLS Asia, Wipro, Google, Byju, Tata, etc. The highest package offered is 14 LPA with an average package of 6 LPA and least package is 3 LPA. 55 out of 75 got placed with an average package of 6lpa. I will opt for Mtech and then research.

The fee for BTech is 16k for the first year and 13350 for the rest of the years. If you apply for a scholarship then 50% of the amount gets returned so the overall fee for Jamia is very less. You can fill out the merit cum means or MOMA scholarship scheme on nsp portal. You can easily get the placement of approx 5 LPA.

There is very less commencement of fests. There are two libraries, and 3 reading halls in Jamia with 1 engineering library containing all needy books. There are also journals. All classrooms have an Ac facility. There is the commencement of sports and extracurricular activities. For sports, there is MAK Pataudi stadium. There are many social groups, clubs,, and websites that you will be aware of when you join college for ex IEEE, placement cell jmi, AISEC, etc.
