Likes
- Variety of food stalls, shops and cafeteria where you can have what you want and decent quality is maintained

- Worst girls boys ratio (10:1) , no chance of getting a relationship here
- Old buildings of departments don't have clean maintained washrooms as the new ones
Course Curriculum Overview
As of 1st sem course curriculum seems irrelevant as it includes common subjects from other branches. From later sems it will focus on core building of software as of Software Engineering branch. plus faculty of this branch is chill not like other branches
Internships Opportunities
Currently in 1st sem so didn't no much about it. But companies like OLA ,Swiggy, Paytm use to hire mostly for internships and Google Microsoft also come up but only rare get there. So decent performance in terms of internship
Placement Experience
Like ig from 5th sem(3rd year) students can apply for internships. Famous companies that visit campus are- Apple,Google, Microsoft,IBM,Amazon etc Highest offers made were 1.2 CR (international package)... much data is not shared publicly so how many students were given that package is not known. Average package of software engineering is near about 20LPA rest it always stay above 18LPA. In tech branches almost 80%-90% students get placed Mp will get a job in other country after this degree
Fees and Financial Aid
For first year: Yearly fee- 2,36,700 Seat acceptance fee-95,000 Remaining balance to pay at time of admission - 2,36,700-95,000=1,41,700 For second year: Yearly fee - 2,46,700 For third year: Yearly fee- 2,66,700 For fourth year: Yearly fee - 2,86,700
Campus Life
So it's DTU and DTU is known for its college life and fest culture We have 3 big fest in the year , namely: Yuvaan(literature and film fest) Arena(intracollege sports fest) Engifest (Tech fest and biggest college fest in north India) Rest we have small fest goin on here and there during festivals. Library of DTU is massive and you can find lot of books there so +1 to that. All classrooms are centralized AC fitted with projecters , white screen and white board. Computer labs have latest generation computer with high speed internet connectivity. Sports is highlight for DTU life, the campus has a marvelous sports complex including 3 courts for each lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball , badminton, kabaddi and a good enough football field with a massive cricket field along with a indoor hall equipped with 3 synthetic badminton courts and also numerous table tannis tables. Gym is also fine but is mostly crowded and you can get issued not all but many things from sports room. There are societies for all most everything in DTU so you can join as per your interest . And you can hangout any where with your friends.
Admission
For BTech mode of admission is preferably through JEE mains and then apply through JAC council. JAC includes - DTU,NSUT(main, east, west),IIITD,DESU,IGDTUW I didn't apply of IIITD due to less chill out college life and high fees(almost double to DTU and NSUT) I applied to NSUT and got in there for one round of counselling but DTU is very very near to my home so I took DTU as my preference
Faculty
So we have odd and even semesters. Each semester has two exams mid term and end term We have 5+1 subjects (1 is our elective) Mid terms are of 20 marks (maths is of 25) End term is of 40marks(maths is of 50) Teacher's don't complete syllabus at time neither the bother if you study or what they are teaching is understood by the students. We have study all ourself so library and youtube are very helpful.
Night Life
There are endless hangout spots but a few popular are: DelTech cafe- a pocket friendly option Raj Soin Cafeteria - a bit expensive but good place to have lunch or party ( dominos is there) OAT(Amul lane)- a place where you can get from chips, coldrink to fruits and juice Nescafe - to have a nice cup of coffee Mic-Mac(Night Cafe)- best place for a mid night or 3am Maggie As such no hostel timing for boys but for girls gate opens at 6am and closes by 11pm
