One of my friends studied at DTU. To him, it is at par with old IITs and BITS. Let us see why he preferred DTU over any other IIITs or IITs. DTU has a 100% placement record. Almost all the big companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft visit their campus for placement The salary package sometimes reaches as high as 1.25 crores. Recently there has been a change in the system of electives as you can study any subject of any branch. You can also choose online courses which are not present in most of the IITs. You can do everything there if you wanna write a research paper and have it published. Then, you can opt for writing a research paper instead of studying the subject. Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fees of 4 years is 1034000. 1st year fees is 236700 subsequently increasing 10 to 15 percent in the forthcoming years. Dtu itself provide scholarship for economically weaker students. And there are also Government scholarship which a student can avail. Scholarship will be around 70 to 90 percent of the fees amount.

A Must Try Experience

Dtu charge 250000/year for undergraduate btech students and increase 20%of the total fees yearly, it's tution fees is only 150000 something and rest include caution , admission, registration, development,lab fees etc ,there is releif for sc and st students,dtu provides scholarship for sc and st students yearly and other outside company also provide scholarship for students which is good for bpl students who can't afford their fees

I'm a third year student and my tution fees is 1,55,000 INR and other fees is around 81,700 INR thus total fees accounts for 2,36,700 INR. Fee concession of 1000 INR for SC. It offers many scholarships for underprivileged students and educational loan facilities.

Why to choose DTU over other engineering colleges?

First year - 2,00,000 Second year - 2,06,000 Third year - 2,19,000 Forth year - 2,36,000 This is the fee structure for every student who is pursuing b.tech from DTU. Students belonging to minority and lower financial background receive some scholarships and reduction in fee 25%, 50% and 75% as per the criteiras. Also, merit based scholaship is available for students. The fees mentioned is for students who took admission for session 2021-2025. Fee increases around 5% every year.

fees, fees is too much considering its a government college.
its new passing citeria, students have to secure minimum of 21 marks out of 60 (ik seems easy but this criteria was passed onto us suddenly so thats annoying). and if you fail in that then back paper fees is 7.5k. yea its a lot.

yearly you have to pay approx 2.5 lakhs, with an increment of approx 10% every year. the fees for sc st is also the same atleast for the first year/sem then they can avail scholorships and such later on when the notice comes (approx 2-3 months after enrollment.). there are many different scholorships available on the basis of merit, need, income etc. you have to payb your you whole year's fees at the time of enrollement only. i feel the fees is too much considering that its a government aided college.

All about dtu U need to know

For the first year students the dtu administration is charging 2,29,000(INR). this include tuition fees of 1,47,300 and student welfare fee of 20,000, facility and service charges of 36,000 and ews fund 10,000 and examination fee of 15,000 and medi claim for students of 700. there are multiple scholarships availabe which are provided by dell, adani company and airtel and some other scholarships are there whhich are from central and state government

The elective subjects in my college are quite helpful. There are various subjects to choose from that improves our personal and professional development.

The tution fees was 1,55,000 rupees and the student welfare fees that includes co-curricular activities, seminars, workshops, institutional development, innovative projects, etc. was 20,000 rupees. They took 36,000 as facilities and service charges and 10,000 for EWS fund. Examination fees was 15,000 and 700 rupees for medical facilities. It keeps on increasing every year by 10k rupees.
