My IIT D experience

i have been intersted in mechanical enginering and as the mechanical department of IIT Delhi is one of the best in our country so that's why i have choose it. they teaches us in such a manner and provide us real life problem which help us to give the ability to solve the real life problem . I peronally thougt that teaching all the students same of different department they should teach them according to their department wise in first year. Some machines here are very old and not even in working condition so i thought that in this area there is a need to improve . The frequency and timing are very good as we get time to study for it and give us time to get relief and stressfree

Mnay companies came in IIT DELHI and offer so many paid internship to students according to their CGPA and Depatment , and also on their skills. The companies include a wide variety some of the name are Microsoft , Amazon , Flipkart , Boston consulting and management . The roles offered were software devloper , Data analysist , Research position to consulting and management .These internships are of of 6-9 months .The companies give challenging tasks like if a student is in tech he has to do software devlopment , machine learning etc . And if a student is in consulting then he has to do case study and client based projects

the sudents are eligible from the sixth semster, or third year for the campus placements. The name of some companies came for the placement Microsoft ,Jaguar Land Rover India Limited , Rakuten Mobiles , Accenture etc. Around 1300 offers were made and 260 PPO's and 30 international offers in 2023 batch . The highest package in 2023 was 2.5 cr per annum . The average package was around 20 LPA . The percentage of students getting placed was around 89 percentage in 2023. My Plans are either getting a placement or going for the civil services

the yearly fees varies fot sc , st , gen-ews , obc and so i am a st candidate i have got relief in fees . I have deposited 22400 for 1 semster . We dont have to pay tution fees as we are from category.here all the people fom all category. fess are different for different category.i dont no many names but recently i got to know about-merit cum scholarship they provide 1000 rupees per month.

There are majorly two fests, Rendezvous[ cultural fest ] held in october and Tryst [ technical fest ] held in january. Range and Accessibility is very good as there are are a wide range of course books as well as different books of different interest .The class rooms are fully fitted with charging pots as well as lighting with proper ventilation and air conditioning . The sports and extra curricular activities are also very good we can play a wide variety of sports and they organise sports GC . Here , students run BSW [ Board Of Student Wellfare , they provide us help in every aspect . They help us both in personal and professional life. they have a positive aspect in student life

They provide us a bed , a chair , a table ,a wardrobe and shelves with proper lighting and full ventillation . The meal quality is decent , they sometimes provide us very good food on some occassions. The registration process is very easy .We pay the hostel fees , verified us by the provided data and after all that i get my hostel room . The affordability is also very good every middle clas can afford it . No i have not rented a room or PG

first i have to get register in my assign hostel after two days i have to register me in the college . where i get admit card , id card , and a health card to assure my health in the IIT Hospital. For the admission we have to clear JEE-ADVANCED exam conducted by IIT's. the cutoff's for the exam for st student and sc is 54 and for general 109 and for obc 98 and for general -ews 94 . The overall admission process is very easy and simple . I don't find any difficulty in this process

i dont know the exact number but it's between 1:15 to1:18 .The relation between student and teachers are fruitfull they are very polite,kind and always avaliable to help us. i like Pramit K Chaudhary .He teaches chemistry here , he teaches us very well and he is very good in nature, The best faculties are Hari vemuri , S Veravalli. i dont like Arpan gupta he is good in his subject but i dont think so that he is not good in delivering the knowledge he had so i don't like him. We had two exams one is minor and second is major , we can say the minor are on easier side and majors kind of difficult.as i have not given it i don't know that how many students fail in exams . the course is out dated as the new things are coming sobut they taught us what they taught ten years later

The night life in the campus is amazing there are many hangout spots like SAC [ Stdent Activity Centre ] , Cafeteria , Lawns and night mess . They are not closed in night . The in timming and out timming is 24x7. These places helps in underwinding after a day of hectic classes . The whole college campus is safe to roam around at night as there are street light everywhere . these expereinces shapes very good memeories and helps is relieving the other pressures
