BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements here are really good for almost all branches. More than 250 companies come here for campus placements and the highest packages go over 80 lakhs!! If there were no on campus placements the reputation of the college is so good that off campus placements are also easy to grab. And the alumni network is really good as the college build its reputation very early. After all this college is standing strong since 1955

the placement status in the club are fairly good and almost 98 students from those 100 students get their dream companies during placement, the average placement lies between 8-10 LPA which is good enough if you are the fresher's into the company

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the outcome of the overall course,is beneficial. The curriculum prepration is good for real world application , but requires improvement of more practical knowledge rather then being mostly theoretical. Teaching methods requires more of visualisation of the topic rather then theoretical display of the topic. The difficulty level is high and exams are rather frequent. The students are burdened with assignments and and finishing lab journals , therefore managing time in college is crucial.

The curriculum for civil engineering is up to date with the latest standards.The curriculum is adequate to apply for any competitive exam in the civil engineering domain.Exams and however are frequent.The difficulty of the subjects are usually equivalent to the general toughness of the subjects . The faculty teaching a subject may affect the difficult of the subject.

The cources are quite difficult if you are a average student but if you work hard yourself you will get good grades . Some faculties are good some are like just read pdf and syllabus is completed. Some faculties are really good towards students,they help students very much in the cource .

For campus placement, companies start visiting around the month of August and the process goes on till February. BIT Mesra boasts its incredible placement stats over the internet. The average package for CSE for the year 2021 is 19.2LPA, and that of IT is 20.8LPA . Highest package being 85LPA offered by Atlassian. Companies like Sprinklr, Walmart, Microsoft also visit the campus and hire students for jobs worth 30LPA. The average package for the college aggregating all branches stands at 14LPA which is a decent placement stat during the times of COVID and recession effects. Although the college has taken a significant hit during the year 2023 where the percentage of students placed were around 67% owing to the recession and less comapnies visting the campuses for recruitment. However, the T&P cell of BIT Mesra has held close relations with many great companies and boasts a wide allumini network. As for my plans after the degree, I aim at joining a good firm to work with.

If you're in Core Branch then you have to manage time and prepare for GATE. Internship offers are good in this college but if you are dedicated for the government job then you can just pass in semesters and work hard for prepare for GATE

The course curriculum is at par according to the current industry scenario. The curriculum is good and it prepares us for the industry. The syllabus is very well-updated and teaches us from the very basics to advance as we progress through the course.

As I have chosen Civil Engineering which has good Internship Opportunities in this college. Course Curriculum is not good and Teaching Methods of some Professors are good as per my experience. Labs are well equipped for all Branches of B.Tech

The curriculum is very good and is updated on a regular basis.The syllabus is as per the industry reuirements.Two exams per semester are held one midsem and one endsem.And there is absolute grading to aclclate the gpa per semester.
