Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is not bad but also not good. Core branch in here have good opportunities of internship in good companies. Teaching methods of some professor are excellent but some professors just read the presentation and finish the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good for Core Branches.As company like NHAI which offers Internship to 40 students every year of Civil Engineering Branch. Many students do Internship in their own companies.

Placement Experience

If you're in Core Branch then you have to manage time and prepare for GATE. Internship offers are good in this college but if you are dedicated for the government job then you can just pass in semesters and work hard for prepare for GATE

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is very high and not getting that much facility only they are taking the huge fees and the opportunity to scholarship is good if you are good in studies you can avail GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP or if you're a ST/SC or OBC you can apply for NSP and E-Kalyan Scholarship.

Campus Life

Hostel life is awesome but the hostel facilities are worst in this college as they are keeping two members in single room.Availability of books are good in library. Sports facilities are not upto the mark.

Hostel Facilities

Room is small but two students in a single room are being kept together. Meal menu is good but meal quality is poor. Registration process for Hostel is done with the fees procedure of Semester. Some students leave outside the campus in PG and locals student do up-down from there house and Hostel Meal is poor.

Admission

JEE MAINS APPLICATION FORMS can found online. This college have Reserved Seats for ST,SC & OBC. Difficulty level is not too high to get admission in this college . Admission process should be done in advanced form and online

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra.
