I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

Bit mesra campus is 700 acres wide which offers a big campus for students to explore and faculty is also kind of helpful
The placement is average for core branches
For cir uital branches it is very good to be considered for infrastructure and environment

Dislikes

The campus is wide enough to be acknowledged but underdeveloped
Gender ratio is seemingly very low and horrible in mechanical branch
Placement declines too if recession occurs

The curriculum is of moderate level and proved my decision to be a wise,the curriculum teaches me to tackle the industry problem in the most convenient way,the course needs to be more practical rather to be theoretical to comprehend the student for corporate environment

Likes

Bit Mesra campus is very beautiful and full of greenery.
Students can play cricket, football, badminton and sports.
Various fests and events are organised throughout the year.

Dislikes

The fees here is approx 16-17 lakhs which is very high.
For 21000 per semester we are getting single room
Since the campus size is very huge students have to keep cycle

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the the course curriculum 4 out of 5 here. My main aspect to choose this course is that good placement opportunities are provided here for my branch. We have mid sems , end sems , 2 quizzes for each subject, assignments and viva for lab subjects.

i am still in 2nd semester and haven't faced internships yet but i have seen seniors doing their internships.

Likes

campus life friends and the fun part , i ocasionaly go outside for fun too

Placement Experience:

students become eligible after 3rd semester , lot of companies visit this campus for hiring and placements. placements here are decent to good if you are good in academics with no backs. about 75% students get placed. As of now highest package was from cse that was of 65lpa.

I would rate this course very good because learn new things from this course. I choose this course because I want to gain knowledge and learn new things from it. No there is no imprisonment needed in teaching method

great campus , big serene and scenic , beatiful rivers
great placements in cse and other top branches
clsssroom infrastructure and sports facilities, club activities'

Dislikes

very poor girl to boy ratio in top branches almost 1 : 10
some professors are just sick , they are just sometimes frustrated
the in times of hostel for boys and girls is quite early

Placement Experience:

taking of branches other than cse ,a i ml , and ece , placement stats are not that good . but taking of cse , average package stays at 20 lpa whereas highest packaage is a about 58 lpa similarly ai ml also has avearage of 20 lpa

Academic structure : It has consistently maintained high standards of education and reserach
Advanced labs : It has advanced labs, and a wide range of resources in library
Facilities : Apart from academics , college lay equal importance to recreational and sports activities and has good facilities for same.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the placement from 7th Semester onwards. Around 230+ recruiters visited the campus and around 1000+ offers were made by them. Highest package is around 58 lakh and average salary is around 13 lakh. And around 600+ students were successfully placed in the batch. Personally, my plans were to pursue a software development job in short term and become a team lead in long run.

My college and it's pros and cons

Likes

Things I liked in my college is the campus , lush green surroundings etc
Inner and outer canteens. Night canteens are also available
Sports complex and gym with proper equipments

Dislikes

Old and ancient buildings with somewhat collapsed structures of some buildings
Gym is also far way with short in and out timings
Long distance travel for main building and sports complex.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It provides great internship opportunities.the curriculum helps in giving coding competitions and enhance jobs.coursw curriculum can be updated and teaching can be made more interactive and interesting.

My College's Secret

Likes

Clubs and socities will give you exposure to lot things.
College fests are very good and is lasts for around 3 days.
Crowd here is also very good.You will get to meet lot of peoples from different parts of INDIA.

Dislikes

Adminstration is too rigid here and strict.
Intime is very less for both boys ans girls.
Infra can be more better and modern.College has no boundaries.

Placement Experience:

Placement begins from starting of 7th sem and goes till mid of 8th sem.compaines like microsoft, paypal, arcesium, salesforce, bain etc.Highest package is 60lakh this year.Average is around 10.5lpa.%ge for placement is around 85%.

BIT Mesra in a nutshell

Likes

The fests organized are very enjoyable and you can enjoy with your friends.
The clubs will help you to create more friends and you can improve your social circle as well.
The placement are good and if you work hard enough youll get good placements.

Dislikes

The curriculum is a bit harsh and study intensive youll have to focus on your studies as well
Youll have to pressure from your clubs, youll have to give a lot of your time to clubs.
Some of the professors are a bit bad they dont want to take their time and guide you.

I am from Mechanical Engineering , the course is well structured and will prepare you to tackle all the challenges you will face in real world. Personally, I preferred to take this course due to my interest in the field of mechanics and the curriculum includes labs in which youll face the the problems which will set you for real life problems. Improvements can be made in syllabus to make it less theoretical more practically based curriculum which will reduce the stress on students. Exams takes place once in a month which is for 10 marks and once in 2 months which is mid sem for 25 marks and one which is final exam for 50 marks.

Clubs are good and they give guidance and funding when needed
As for boys a good amount of freedom is given to them.
The guidance given by faculty and they also provide support when needed

Dislikes

The rooms are very conjusted. There isn't table given to each.
The adminstration is very bad. They do not respond when needed.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is slightly outdated but still the faculty is qualified enough to give you support whenever needed. The curriculum is fairly good and can get into industries just by preparing on the side. The course can be changed according to the industry standards. The faculty should focus on projects rather than just gulping data. The exams are quite tough and the faculties are strict when it comes to correction
