i am still in 2nd semester and haven't faced internships yet but i have seen seniors doing their internships.

I chose EEC since I wanted to get into circuital branches and wanted to pursue a career in them. Faculties in circuital branches are mostly good and well experienced their teaching experience is also good. we have electric engines and power engines which are designed for the needs of this tech. in market and development areas. The electrical and electronics branch here is really cool with lots of academic stuff within it.

Atlassian, Microsoft, Flipkart, jio, wipro, tcs, Deloitte, IBM, ey, KPMG, ewc, Infosys, and various many companies take students for an internship opportunity. even the mechanical branch had a good number of placements last year of around 80% internships and PPOs.

students become eligible after 3rd semester , lot of companies visit this campus for hiring and placements. placements here are decent to good if you are good in academics with no backs. about 75% students get placed. As of now highest package was from cse that was of 65lpa.

well, the fee structure for general students and all other categories except pwd are same i.e around 15-17 lacs for btech courses. its less for pwd , also scholarships can be obtained on basis of your semester results and fees get reliefed on basis of cgpa, (starts around 8.5cgpa) . You can ask bank for stundent loans in campus too since theres an sbi brnach in our campus.

The campus is really big you can roam anywhere. There is this cool river intersection outside campus and it's actually ghetto around campus but it's cool. There is total of 724acres of land for bit mesra and out of which 300-350 is being used by buildings, social aspects matter here since most of the population is from Jharkhand and Bihar.

hostel facilities are decent and rental accomodation is small as for now , altho they are building lifts in outer hostels but they should really provide single rooms. food is fine (although taste sucks a few days) . warden and all staff are nice. washrooms are clean mostly too.

You can get eligible for this college through jee mains, Admission process is smooth and college is good. Minimum cutoffs vary from 90 percentile to 88 percentile for general. Administration kinda mid but it works and overall experience is good. if the state quota wouldnt be there then it could have been better in my opinion.
