clsssroom infrastructure and sports facilities, club activities'

Dislikes

very poor girl to boy ratio in top branches almost 1 : 10
some professors are just sick , they are just sometimes frustrated
the in times of hostel for boys and girls is quite early

Course Curriculum Overview

course is quite relevant in terms of engineering perspectives. IN the First year you get to learn the basic of everything including , basic biology ,basic electrical ,basic electronics ,basics of mech engg etc. from the second year you are extenively prepared for your particular chosen field in depth , with some of the best mentors, especially in C.S.E.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

taking of branches other than cse ,a i ml , and ece , placement stats are not that good . but taking of cse , average package stays at 20 lpa whereas highest packaage is a about 58 lpa similarly ai ml also has avearage of 20 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

fees structure for btech is approx same. for all branches. for the current year it is is about 16 lakhs to 18 lakhs depending upon hostel fees in total. you can also avail scholarship , through G.P birla scholarship , for scoring good grades or , even on the basis of your jee mains marks.

Campus Life

there are many fest like , pantheon , bitostsav , deepotsav frequent dj nights and ,food fests as well , about 20 clubs are there to keep you engaged in campus activity and campus is breath taking with 700 acres of land and breath taking peninsula surrounded on 3 sides by 2 rivers

Hostel Facilities

hostels are quite good ,clean and mess food is also like home . hostels have 4 times foood , that is brakfast , lunch ,tasty sancks and dinner . hostels also have sports facilities which allow the student to play whwenever they want . but an integrated gym would have been the best

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

First prepare for entrance exam like jee mains for btech course then get a decent rank in one of those exam particularly jee mains and then enter here through josaa joint seat allocation and csab counselling

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
