Ques: Which 2 subjects are the easiest in the NEET syllabus?

Ans: Going by the patterns of question papers every year, it can be estimated that Botany followed by Chemistry is comparatively easier than the rest of the 2 papers.

Ques: How many students clear NEET in the first attempt?

Ans: Due to its highly competitive nature and with the proper execution of rules and regulations, it can be said that around 60% of the total number of students taking the NEET exam clear it on the first attempt.

Ques: Which year was NEET the toughest exam?

Ans: NEET 2016 is considered to be the toughest exam for the Physics section. The paper had complex numerical problems that needed to be solved with the help of thorough knowledge of the concept.

Ques: Is NEET getting tougher every year?

Ans: NEET difficulty varies every year, making it impossible to forecast in advance. A common misconception among those aspiring to become doctors is that the NEET exam becomes harder each year. In comparison to 2023 and prior years, NEET 2024 can either be harder or easier.

Ques: Is NEET tougher than IIT?

Ans: Choosing between NEET and IIT is an individual decision. IIT may have a higher conceptual difficulty, but NEET has more cut-offs and competition, therefore both tests are difficult in different ways.

Ques. Which chapter is most important for NEET?

Ans. Important chapters of NEET chemistry syllabus from where questions are frequently asked include p-block elements, Solutions, Aldehydes, Ketones, and carboxylic acids.Important chapters of NEET Physics syllabus that you should not miss include mechanics, magnetism, optics, energy, and motion. In Botany & Zoology, chapters on biotechnology, principles of inheritance, and human physiology are the most important for NEET.

Ques. How many questions are there from each subject?

Ans. There are 50 questions from Physics, 50 from Chemistry, 50 from Botany and 50 from Zoology. Out of the 50 questions in each subject, you have to attempt only 45.

Ques. How can I calculate my NEET Score?

Ans. You can calculate NEET Score based on the marking scheme provided by NTA. For each correct answer, add 4 marks and for each incorrect answer, deduct 1 mark. Use the following formula: (No. of correct answers X 4) – (No. of Incorrect answers X 1)

Ques. Is there a negative marking in NEET exam?

Ans. Yes, one mark is deducted for each incorrect response marked on the OMR sheet.

Ques. Is NCERT enough to clear NEET?

Ans. NCERT is the fundamental text for NEET and includes all the basic concepts that will be asked in the exam. A lot of questions are asked from the textbook. But it is good to refer to a few help books for a better idea of the type of questions asked in the exam.
